The Holiday Inn was easy to find and well placed for tourist attractions. Town centre was a bit too far off. Large, impressive building from outside. Inside gives impression a make over would be welcome - especially the bar area.
The facilities - like the pool - could be advertised better as we didn't know it had one. Cleanliness was good almost everywhere. Staff very helpful and efficient. Room was too warm and couldn't easily be adjusted. Only meals through the bar available as far as we could tell. Limited vegetarian choice. Same soup each day. Breakfasts were good with loads of choice. We were there at a relatively quiet time. Don't know what it would be like if busy. Internet access okay, but still keeps popping up on my phone days after we've left. TV options poor - not sure if this is just Irish TV. Far less channels than even basic freeview.

Stayed for 3 Nights and In comparison to other Holiday Inns I have stayed in this one is average in that the rooms are adequate size with 2 children, but less toiletries, no ironing facilities in room , Breakfast buffet was not hot and was not replenished enough and had to wait for it to be cooked . Bar did not open until 3pm so could not get any food or drink at lunchtimes. Swimming pool was very small but ok for the kids. Overall a comfortable stay .
