Staying at one of the highest rated Hotel and Casino's in Las Vegas with one of the nicest properties and the most beautiful hotel we visited during our stay I was expecting the service and staff to be of the same caliber. But I was wrong. My girlfriend and I waited for 20 to 30 minutes on the first night of our stay to talk to a concierge about booking a show and some dinner reservations. The two staff members available did not even acknowledge us while we waited, and did not have any urgency to finish up with the customers they were helping. We were not expecting them to cut short the conversations they were having but it would have been nice to not have to listen to 10 minutes of chit chat and unnecessary small talk while we waited in line. The Concierge seemed to know what the shows were but did not give any insight on prices or discounts or special deals or great value or anything that would be available.. The only information I was able to get from the concierge was the same information found in the free pamphlets in the room. So we uncomfortably stood in line for 20-30 minutes for nothing and ended up buying tickets at a kiosk off the property.
As we were packing to depart on our last day of the trip we called housekeeping to see if they could send a staff member with a vacuum we could use for a minute to vacuum seal up our bags and they said that its not a service they offer...Seriously? A hotel Resort this big doesn't have a vacuum? I cant think of a single legitimate reason to not let a guest use a vacuum for a minute. Since we could not vacuum seal up our clothes to shrink them we had to over pack our personal items and carry them on the plane with us for 6 hours.
I was very unimpressed with the service during our stay at this "resort". I think its safe to say next time we travel to Vegas we will try to find someplace that will appreciate us as guests and treat us accordingly.

Elegant looking property
Variety of dining choices
Big and comfortable suite
- Uncomfortable bed
- Pools with floating scums
- Slow room service
- Impatience and impersonal front desk staff
I'm still fuming over the front desk staff who insisted that I fill out a report for the sunglasses I left in the room (even though their housekeeping staff found them) They said my sunglasses will be shipped to my home address, but they never arrived.
