Hotel OK, Staff unhelpful

Stayed at this hotel as it is near the airport, originally pre-booked 2 nights. Meeting was cancelled so I checked out after 1 night, as it was my change and I'd pre-booked my room at a preferential rate I had no issue with paying for the 2nd night.

However I then received an email with a copy of my invoice for 3 nights - not 2!. When I queried this rather than check what the invoice the hotel kept sending me messages informing me about their Policies and their Terms & Conditions. Eventually I sent them the invoice back and asked them to call me (which they never did), but then I suddenly received a correct invoice with no words of apology.

Everyone can make a mistake, but why did they not check it first rather than keep telling me that it was their T&C and Policy.

Very poor customer relations - appears that they don't care about people only applying the rules even if not appropriate at the time!

I was impressed by the cleanliness and very good/modern condition of my good sized room. No outside noise. Good lighting in the whole hotel. The breakfast (English) was very good and tasty, the plates were also pre-warmed. The staff were all very intent on helping.

Always enjoy my stay here!

The Wiesbaden Crowne Plaza is always a great place to stay. Staff highly motivated and professional/Rooms are great/breakfast is better than none other/my great friends/buddies at the the bar are the greatest. My heart is going to be broken as I learned that in June this year the hotel name will change and there's not another IHG Brand in the city. I visit quite often and really really makes me sad to know of this!
