The most dirty and disgusting IHG hotel

I was immediately turned off about how dark and dim the hotel lobby and lights were, and I thought what are they hiding. The floors were dirty, the carpeting on the 21st floor was dirty and worn out and it gave an unkempt feeling. I checked into the bedroom it was dark and dim as well, the carpet had big dirty stains all over, there I kept my sandals on the entire stay. The bed was bulky and lumpy and I couldn’t sleep at all, and kept was up to men screaming and yelling all night. I thought this seedy, disgusting place is worse than I thought. I couldn’t wait to check out, and I kept considering leaving sooner. I’m totally disappointed at the Staybridge hotel in Atlanta Georgia. The hotel clerk was nice, but he deserves to work somewhere better than that hotel. It was disgusting. If I was staying on my rewards point I would have asked for a credit back.

Good value for a stay in Atlanta. Staff was friendly however bathroom was subpar had to buy myself own supplies and clean the bathroom. Price was decent for the stay.

Do not book at this hotel

Never booking there again. I called 27(not exaggerating) times to no avail to my an adjustment Prior to my arrival. Got there, only 1 receptionist smh...so I'm waiting in line for a half hr to check in. Couldn't adjust AC in room so it was hot. TV was damaged with 2 light flickering in the middle. Couldn't get extra towels from the housekeeping because she didn't have any smdh.Then... after all that, valet gets into an accident IN MY VEHICLE, so I'm currently involved in liability disputes between the valet and the other car involved. Stay away from this hotel...TRUST. Oh, and the last thing: Staybridge Suites Midtown doesn't exist, as there is no front desk. You have to go around to the Crown Plaza side to check in as they have merged together. No advance notice in the app prior to booking.

I recently stayed at State Bridge Midtown Atlanta, and I am shocked that a hotel operating under this name allows such conditions. I work in government communications, and this trip was primarily for work-related purposes — yet I was met with unprofessionalism, unsafe conditions, and a completely unacceptable environment.
From check-in on September 26th, the experience was downhill:
No working TVs in the room, which I rely on for my job.
No functioning room phones — they weren’t even plugged in. That's not just inconvenient — it's unsafe.
No air conditioning for three days, forcing us to sleep in heat. One of my coworkers has asthma, and the room conditions became a health risk.
Despite booking a two-bedroom for three people, we were moved into a one-bedroom, and given a ripped, dirty rollaway bed (with photos to prove it).
After multiple follow-ups, the manager finally admitted, “We were busy, and I forgot to call you to let you know that we switched your room.” By then, it was too late — we were leaving the next day.
After all this, we were offered just $100 in compensation — as if that makes up for three nights of discomfort and health risks.
To make matters worse, the overall environment of the hotel did not feel secure. During our stay, we witnessed individuals who appeared to be engaging in prostitution-related activity on the premises. This was deeply concerning from a safety and professionalism standpoint, especially for guests traveling for work.

I do not recommend staying here until serious improvements are made.

This hotel needs renovations ASAP! The room we stayed in was OLD. The balcony was locked the windows were nasty and a dog barked all night on our floor.

a complete rip off

to start off with the closed down the entrance to the Staybridge to save money on labor, so you have to drive around the block to the Crown Plaza entrance. Valet parking is $50 a night, $14 higher than self park two blocks away, the valet person stunk of smoking pot . I asked dates front desk clerk, who spoke really bad english, about a diet coke, the market place was right there and the two refrigerators labeled coca cola didn't have a single coke soda product in it. If you look out the front entrance you are looking at the world headquarters of coca cola, then I went to the bar and the young fellow behind the bar smelled even worse of having smoked pot, and he told me he didn't have any diet coke on his bar soda gun. The rooms especially the entrance to the room with ripped carpet and a really banged up door so overall when you add in $50 a night for parking and the staff working at this hotel I would strongly suggest you stay as far away from the property as possible

I usually prefer Staybridge because of cleanliness, pleasant experiences, support, etc. But unfortunately, this time, its very horrible hotel room is not cleaned properly, and I am so disappointed with the service. Hope this will be changed, and take this as positive feedback. I usually prefer Staybridge because of its cleanliness, pleasant experience, and helpful staff. However, during my recent stay, I was very disappointed with my hotel room, as it was not cleaned properly. I hope this feedback is taken positively and that improvements are made for future guests.

Comfortable bed, good value for the suite

Me and my children enjoyed our stay at the hotel. My only concern was getting a room on the 22nd floor to find someone else’s belongings in the room. I had to go to the front desk and report the concern. I then received a room on the 21st floor. I was a little exhausted and could have done without the having to go back to the front desk. My sink in the room was a little dirty and my children found candy paper on the couch. Other than 3 mentioned concerns such as the room change, dirty sink, and candy paper in the room, the stay was pretty interesting. We enjoyed the breakfast and I will definitely return for another stay!

So so hotel in Midtown ATL. Need better service, more amenities, and breakfast quality. Towels with stains and dirty carpets. Front desk rarely answered when I called and took them a couple of hours to bring us fresh set of towels...

Needs new mgmt and additional staff

Room wasn’t ready upon arrival so they downgraded us. No bedding for couch or pillows and extra towels until after 11pm which was now required since they moved us to one bed with four people. Towels were moldy. Sirens constantly. Couldn’t charge sundry items to room. Charged for both valet and self parking. Stay somewhere else is my recommendation.
