    On the day of arrival, I called the front desk to let them know that I will be checking late. The day time manger, Vicky G, acknowledged my IHG member status, so she upgraded my room to a bigger room. But when I arrived there at 9:45 pm, the night shift manager, Martin O., was so rude and ignorant. He didn't care about my IHG status nor to upgrade my room as reserved from Vicky. He said, no rooms available and can't upgrade my room. However, at 7 AM the next morning, I walked down to the front desk and saw Vicky's there. It took less than 5 minutes, she gave me the keys to a better room. I was so glad to have Vicky's service, but very disappointed with Martin's. I'd recommend this Candlewood hotel as long as there is service people like Vicky.

However, I want to clarify that I am Martin O and I am the general manager. Due to cashiering policies, I am not allowed to check-in guest. I will adress your commens with our front desk staff, in an effort to adress the matter and avoid any further occurrances. Thank you for yor comments and we hope you will consider us the next time you are in the Garden Grove/ Anaheim area. .
