Getting Better

I guess I am stuck with the "Sick Nonsmoker" name because of my prior review of this hotel and its smoking issues. However, I do think things have been better since my last review. As long as you don't get stuck in a former smoking room, the rooms are fine. I have noticed an uptick in the housekeeping quality since my last review.

Room service remains fast and the food remains decent. Concierge lounge quality is excellent overall. The concierge floors are noticeably quieter as well.

One thing I didn't mention in my last review: the bed/sleep quality is excellent. In fact, it is the one thing that has been consistently excellent in my 60 nights at this property so far this year.

This property still needs to step up its game further to compete with its chief competitor in downtown Billings and other Crowne properties, but it seems like the effort to improve may be there now.

I will probably choose this hotel again...

I stayed here once before and was not as pleased as this time. I think the difference with getting an executive room. We were pleased with the room and the services. They have a great breakfast buffet.

Hmmmmmm

Downtown Billings. Older property. Was upgraded to a suite, nice. Lobby was a littered, neighbors were loud and obnoxious. Friday night. Walls were brick and NOT sound proof at all.

Staff was excellent

The front desk staff was great. They greeted with a smile and I had a very fast check-in. The heaters in the room were very noisy kicking on and off and we had no control over the temperature of the room. We would adjust the thermostat but it would not change. This would be the nicest hotel in Billings if they would update the heating and cooling system.
