Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Laurel Holiday Inn Passing thru the area while on vacation, and I picked this hotel since it is halfway between Baltimore and Wash, D.C., and I didn't have to worry about traffic congestion in this area. I am a huge fan of memory foam, and the bed in my room had a memory foam mattress. I wish that all motels used memory foam. Overall, I give this property 4 stars. I can't give 5 stars for the following reasons: I do have a few negatives. After I checked in, I had to wait over 5 minutes for an elevator. One elevator stayed on the 3rd floor while the other elevator was in the basement. I don't know if the elevators were broken, but neither elevator moved for 5 minutes (yes, I did push the UP button, and the button appeared to be working). I had similiar issues when I left the following day. The toilet in my room was very small. It is a perfect size for a child, but too small for a grown man. I'm not a very large person, but the seat and bowl were undersized. There was no microwave or mini fridge in the room. Not a big deal, but I would prefer if those items were standard in every room. 27 January 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by This hotel needs a major overhaul While the staff was professional and helpful, the hotel is a complete dump! It looks like it hasn't had a single renovation since 1971. There was a dead bug under my sons bed and the room was dingy, dark, and gross. I will never stay at another holiday inn again. Just a side note, we are not particularly finicky guests, we just want updated and clean. 23 January 2015
