Negatives: Very thin walls - the hallways were extremely loud in the morning from a group of students that were leaving on some kind of trip. We were woken up before 7 AM to constant slamming of doors and yelling until about 8:15 AM. Although I called the front desk twice, they did nothing. Positives: Comfy bed and pillows, internet, basic needs met. 11 November 2014

Especailly, staff at the front desk was very fiıendly and helpful to me and my family in managing our reservations and mails. However, during our three days visit our room was not cleaned properly and towels were not changed with the clean ones. For that reason only, I rate Holiday Inn Long Beach with four stars instead of five. 11 November 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It gets the job done The staff at this hotel is very nice, friendly and helpful. It is the highlight of the place. The facilities, the furniture, etc. are good, but not impressive. It won't blow your mind, but you'll be comfy. That is all I need. BUT... do not rely on their breakfast if you need to run. The staff es very easily overwhelmed and won't necessarily follow logical thinking. Specific example: I asked for a bagel, which was on display next to the registrar. It was taking a long time and when I inquire about it I was told I needed to wait until all the orders that came before me were out. I had to wait until several sandwiches and omelettes were made for me to get a bagel form the cabinet next to the hotel's employee. One bagel: 25 minutes wait. Oh, the shuttle! Great service, but if there is a conference in town don't rely on it either. The loop time is going to be long (they have only one van) and you have no guaranteed spot. 07 November 2014
