Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Have the owners checked out? First the positives. The two employees I encountered were courteous and professional. You do get a Happy Hour coupon for drinks and appetizers. I really like the location, but this could be unique to me as most of my business took place in and around Addison. Now the negatives. Alongside the employees were some people behind the front desk that I must guess were the owner or relatives of the owner. One was a young girl who wasn't trained to greet customers (and should not be the first person to greet a guest), and the other was an adult male who was very curt at checkout. The elevator has missing covers over the LED lights, and makes a very disturbing sound and shudder as it travels up and down. The bed was sunken in the middle, although the sheets were clean. The furniture in the room reminded me of the 90's. The cleaning lady did not leave any soap in our room. We encountered her in the hallway and asked for some. She didn't have any and asked us to go to the front desk. This isn't really a fatal thing, but when compared against the competition, where I've always been able to at least get a bar of soap in my room after its been cleaned, it doesn't compare favorably. Finally, I observed two A/C units outside the building running when the temperature outside was just slightly above freezing. This I cannot understand. January 3, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saved by the Staff At Holiday INN Dallas North I had checked into another hotel chain. The room was crawling with roaches. It was 11pm at night. Started making calls, and the front desk at Holiday Inn Express made room for me and they did not even know I was a Rewards member at that point. From that point forward this business trip just kept getting better. The staff is wonderful and always has a smile for you. December 21, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dallas North - Addison The clerks were very friendly but I didn't like that the morning clerk was calling me sweety and sugar and other "cute" names when I'm old enough to be her mother. Also the sheets were very thin and needed to be replaced. I bathroom only had two towels and we requested additional towels but they never were delivered. December 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location This is a good location when I come to work in the Carrollton area. As a Platinum Member I am used to very gracious check ins and offers of points or gift bag. Nothing here. No welcome as an IHG Reward member or level status. My company usually puts me in another hotel down the street and I asked to change to this hotel. The other hotel treats their reward members very well. December 16, 2014
