Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 A Few Major Complaints Let me begin by saying that all started out well; the phone calls setting up my reservation were handled well with plenty of patience. The staff even held the key card for our last party member at the front desk. However things started to turn south Friday night when our third party member's key card (that she had recently picked up from the front desk) didn't work and again Saturday afternoon when our own key cards suddenly stopped working. The second issue arose Saturday evening when I found out that a holding fee (that was not aforementioned when I made the reservation) was taken out of my account without any notification. This caused me to not be able to use my card to go out and dine that night. The third and final issue came up today. I had found out upon checking my account that not all of the holding fee was reimbursed. I called and had been told that the staff member who had checked us in for the weekend had not charged us the correct amount and that a portion of the holding fee that was taken, had been added to the initial weekend payment. I would've been ok with the other events HAD we been notified of all monetary 'shenanigans' that had taken place. I just honestly wish that the one staff member had charged the correct amout upon check-in. That was the nail in the coffin. We were also a bit upset that the hotel didn't offer a contenintal breakfast. Other than that, our stay was decent. February 25, 2015
