The hotel is modern and looks nice, but the problems started at the check in. They simply told us to go away as the reservation was done via the IHG web booking service and not directly with them.
After begging from my friend who speaks Spanish they relactanly gave to us inferior rooms.
Rooms very dark, furniture cheap, no fridge.
Underground parking uncomfortable.

The hotel has recently experienced a refurbishment and looks better, the rooms are clean, functional and airy.
However the corridors are very dark (despite automatic lights) some of the walls need painting and the windows at the end of the corridors are very grubby on the inside.
Bar and reception staff are friendly and very helpful.

Hotel actually by the side of a busy road.
We were unable to use the pool as there was nowhere to sit as flooded with health club members.

Stayed for a business trip, only for one night but would recommend this hotel, especially with the location and nice staff

1. The tea making facility wasn't good, the milk powder does not help and the tea bags were of very bad quality/taste.
2. The iron board provided was of a very poor quality
3. The menu had only one decent Main course option in Vegetarian diet, apart from a salad
4. The TV had only one English channel - BBC NEWS, and the quality wasn't good, other Spanish channels were of very good quality
5 You can hear the toilet flush/shower splash loud & clear from the room on floor above. This is definitely not expected from IHG chain hotel.

On my third day I left the room at 10 a.m. I returned at 3p.m. (it was a Sunday) my room was not ready for the next 3 hours despite various promises that remained unfulfilled. It was then prepared badly.I was unable to rest that afternoon and was late for an appointment and tired and harassed by these problems.
I addressed the issues and as yet the hotel has not come back to me.
They offered me a free breakfast (13 Euros) which I declined and explained that I didn't rate the breakfast.
I paid for the experience of breakfast on my first day and also declined this to be uncharged and settled my bill and left after fully documenting my grievances and meeting with the lady manager from 9 till 10 a.m. Monday.
The place was pretentious with obviously a poor staff presence and a cook who couldn't make scrambled eggs!
Level of real understanding of English was poor and
also they tended to forget (for example my safe didn't work and I was left in my room until I rang reception to explain that it still wasn't working). Housekeeping were unable to resolve.
I had a lot of time wasted by this and the unsocial hours of the swimming pool.
The place could be improved upon.
But staffing and service provision was poor.
Here are photos of my room made up and a spare duvet! The pool was by this tunnel and a road passed by.
No access until 10 a.m. and whilst there it rained quite a bit 12th June three days. Breakfast finished at 11...slightly different Sundays?
