We've stayed here often and have always been very pleased with the room and the service. Everything is updated and clean and we always have a good night's sleep. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location Visited our Tech student and found ourselves in the middle of snow-maggedon! Power outage at the property was limited to a few hours but we managed to stay warm by the fire for a little while before deciding to take our chances in the room. It was all an adventure and everybody seemed fine. We would still stay in this hotel again with no hesitation! February 18, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stay at Blacksburg This is our first stay at Blacksburg and Virginia Tech. It was a very enjoyable visit. The hotel staffs are very courteous and friendly. Hotel location is conveniently located. The surroundings feel safe. We were upgraded to the suite as IHG Platinum member, which make our stay even more comfortable. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Reservation Confusion Front desk had some confusion with room assignments and reservations, even though guest booked via email and had specific names attached to reservation numbers. Frustrating and confusion for 2 full days. Front desk handled and resolved, but for a quick 2 day trip I spent more time than I wanted at the front desk trying to figure out my room and reservation information. January 28, 2015
