Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Uncomfortable Bed We have no complaints about the hotel other than the quality of the bed. Staff were friendly and efficient and breakfast was of good quality. The hotel experience was very good value for money. Our only grouse is the beds. If you go into room 221 and strip the bottom sheet as we did, you will see the mattress is ready for the skip. The outdated décor can be overlooked but a comfortable bed is crucial. December 17, 2014

I had a very nice executive room with separate lounge which was very comfortable, food and staff were great. I will definitely return when I am in the area. December 3, 2014

The staff were very attentive and provided us with coffee and sandwiches whilst we were working in the bar area. The rooms, as always, were of a good standard. Breakfast was delayed but when available the food was excellent. I have stayed at this hotel on 3 occasions in the past 2 months and will continue to do so when in the area. December 2, 2014

Food choices and quality is exceptional.The bedrooms are larger than average. The Hotel is set in lovely gardens just a short way off the beaten track but well worth it.
