Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Commentary "Interior" rooms - be aware that there is no sunshine coming in the windows to wake you up - be sure to set your alarm or place a wake-up call. The little cheap clock radios have next-to-no reception capability - only the extra strong AM or FM signals are detectable. Don't expect to use them for entertainment - The breakfast buffet is relatively good at a reasonable price. Order from the menu and add coffee and you're paying more than the buffet price! So the buffet is the ONLY way to go! Beds are very comfortable - the room environmental controls are relatively good for heat or cooling. The staff can and will accommodate your special needs over and above what is advertised. Refrigerator and/or microwave in the room can be made to happen or other special needs can and will be met - the staff is AWESOME. Thank you TOM and ALBERTO for making our stay great. The "T" (train/subway) stop is within 50 feet of the door - four stops from Fenway Park, about 10 to downtown Boston,,,,, highly recommended. Many good restaurants in the neighborhood for dinner. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location Walking distance from University Area, Fenway Park and Bus/Trolley Lines are across the street. Safe location. Friendly staff. Decor is slightly outdated. Don't get the second floor rooms above the entry way. Smoke and exhaust seeps in windows from entrance below and can be loud at times. Would definitely stay again, just not in the same room area. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by previous stays were much better having stayed in this hotel too many times to count, this stay was unfortunately really bad. The quality of staff attentiveness was poor, the shuttle experience to the hospital was poor, the maid did not clean our room in between days stayed, when requested items to be brought to the room I was told it would be delivered but was not, the list goes on and on...
