Check in was quick, there is no elevator to the second floor so if you don't want to climb stairs with luggage in tow, request first floor. Upon entering our room it smelled of mildew. Wallpaper was peeling on the walls. The bathroom had not been cleaned well at all. There was standing urine at the bottom around the outside of the toilet. Hairs were visible in the corner on the bathroom tile floor. Tub didn't drain & after staff was called to fix the clog it still didn't drain good. The price was cheap & included free hot breakfast buffet which was the only thing good about this hotel. Very disappointed in this Holiday Inn & will not stay here while in Brownsville again.

Rooms Are Available Upon Check In, Staff are accommodating and friendly, Food Are Great, Very Near to Shopping Stores, Was Able To Relax And Sleep After A Long Flight.

Holiday inn is clean, convenient to everything in Brownsville and a quick drive to South Padre Island. Restaurant and Bar a plus while staying at this hotel. Mall is across the highway. the staff are great I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Brownsville not pay the high prices in SPI while this resource is a available!

For the two nights of my stay, the hot water did not work. I was not told in advance of the problem and was not offered a solution until I suggested a remedy, then it was embraced.
