We had a great time at the Holiday Inn Arenas. Staff were very friendly and we liked the location - not in the thick of things in the hotel zone, but close enough to enjoy all of Cancun. The food was good and the property is a great value.

No sirve su sistema de agua y no se lo solucionan al huésped, solo buscan quedarse con el dinero de tu reserva. El Gerente déspota y malhumorado.
Los muebles de las habitaciones bastante viejos y deteriorados.
Las toallas a punto de deshilacharse
El aire acondicionado ruidoso y sin enfriamiento
Sin servicio al cuarto de comida en la madrugada cuando llegas del aeropuerto
La ubicación del hotel en un lugar aislado no encuentras nada alrededor.
La alberca mal pequeña y mal distribuida
La playa pésima con un pequeño espacio para camastros.
No vale la pena sufrir habiendo tantos hoteles en Cancún

All the services provide of the personal are the best quality, the manager of the hotel give the best atention for the customers and they makes you feel as if you were in your home. Excelent service, atention and quality.
I would like back soon.

My stay was great from the first night I checked in to the last night I left. The staff was friendly and also knew English. So when I got stuck with my Spanish, it wasn't a problem cus the front staff knew English. When we wanted to know about the area, the front doorman gave good directions and the best mode of transportation. It was a family friendly atmosphere with the option of having an all inclusive on food and drinks.

This hotel offers adequate value for the price. However, it must make infrastructure and management upgrades.
* Internet connection was patchy at best, Very disappointing, particularly for the business traveler
* Parking needs to be expanded. Not enough spaces after 8 p.m.
* Hotel must enforce no-smoking areas. For much of my stay, the hallway leading up to my room reeked of smoke
* Water pressure is an issue. Faucet pipes vibrated/made loud noises
* Food quality needs to improve at the hotel's restaurant

I don't write these often, and have a lot of experience traveling. However I have stayed at this property twice, and both times I felt like the front desk couldn't care in the least if you were run over by a truck while they watched. They are twice as long to check you in and show a high level of incompetents in even the very basic of activities. Also the wifi is garbage.

No les recomiendo visitar este hotel porque saldrán desilusionados por su servicio , amabilidad , mal olor en el ambiente , mala calidad de sus bebidas alcoholicos , comida poco variada

My wife and I stayed for 6 days in Aug 2015 for our vinyl anniversary (33 1/3 years). The staff bent over backwards to insure that we had a pleasant stay. The food was great and David's restaurant staff was fantastic, even learning our preferences and serving us before we needed to make a request. What a great team. The general staff was equally attentive. Cynthia made it her personal mission to insure that everything went well for us, going above and beyond anything that would be reasonable to expect. When our prepaid taxi back to the airport fell through, Cynthia even arranged for the hotel's limo to take us, even though the hotel does not offer airport transportation! Don't expect a luxury hotel, but do enjoy a comfortable stay with an authentic Mexican atmosphere, great food and an appreciative staff that will do everything it can to insure you enjoy your visit to Cancun.
