Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel needs a facelift The staff was super friendly and helpful. We originally were given a room that looked over an inside swimming pool and the room smelled of chlorine. Upon our request, they changed the room for us right away. The hotel is tired looking though- the bathroom especially. Very good location- right off of Route 80 and by Applebees for an easy dinner that you can walk to. However- this is the first Holiday Inn Express that didn't include a quick breakfast in the morning. I should have asked- but never had that before. Even worse- my daughter and I both ordered scrambled eggs and they were scary looking- brownish- like they didn't change the grease on the griddle. We didn't eat them. May 8, 2013

It was top notch from check in,dealing with housekeeping and the outstanding meals that we had during our stay. I would recommend this hotel for business, leisure and family travel. May 2, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good place to stay for work travel Stayed here for work travel. Older looking rooms and decoration, but not a bad place. Convenient having a restaurant in the hotel. Good food, just make sure you have lots of time as it takes a while to get served. Biggest complaint is the internet access. While free, the service is very slow and towards the back of the hotel, it is next to impossible to connect. Not a big deal but may be enough for me to stay elsewhere next time. April 15, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Experience This was my forth stay at this hotel. It is clean, quirt, and well run. My only comment is that breakfast should cost less, but that is a problem at most Holiday Inns. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when in the area. March 19, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ho Hum The hotel restaurant ran out of coffee. (Yes, coffee. And no one could run across the street to a 24hr Walmart and get more). Kitchen service was slow in the morning and I saw three customers walk away in disgust. The rooms are clean, though! February 20, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent the holiday inn clarion,pa is like a second home. thefood is great the employees are extremely friendly and very helpful,and there is an obvous well cared for feeling for the hotel and the guests. a nice clean place to relax with the family or to host a bussiness meeting. you couldnt find a more friendly ( and good lookin) group of people and they all speak english!
