The room had a slightly musty smell upon entering; but once we turned on the air conditioning, that smell dissipated.

STAYED HERE ON 4/20/16 AND ROOM HAD TO HAVE MAINTENANCE FIX DOOR LOCK SO WE COULD GET IN A NICE WAY TO WELCOME GUEST (HU) THAN TO TOP THAT DIDN'T RECEIVE THE 500 BONUS POINTS FOR STAY AND AFTER CALLING PUT ON HOLD FOR 15 MINS(GREAT SERVICE)DON'T THINK i'LL STAY AGAIN.

Room was great for the price, beds are small. Pool was great, however it is said to be heated (it did not feel as if it was heated). Breakfast was okay, wasnt the best we'd had from hotels. Dining area is small, and we
took togo boxes to our room which was nice.

Driving for 10 straight hours was not in the plans. We were given the Holiday Inn in Fayetteville, NC as an option to break up the traveling. It was really easy to make the reservation. We arrive late on Friday night and checked in very easily. Sleep was great - room was clean (as we expected it to be). On Sat. morn, before driving the final part of our journey, we had the breakfast included in the price. It was more than we had expected. Service was very friendly, food was hot and very good. If we take that trip next year, I'm sure we will go the same say.

We stayed in H.I. and H.I Express before and we must admit, it is the first time we fell, we will not return to any H.I. because of our recent experience. The reception people as well as the restaurant staff were very nice and most of the time, attentive. Helpful at the reception, but waiting for your second cup of coffee in the morning and had to ask for it, is not acceptable for any H.I. The room was comfortable as usual, but dusty and needed more attention when being cleaned.
Cleaning staff should be more careful and not rush when they do a room; better to do 8 rooms properly than 12 not well done. Towel in the toilet means, no supervisor to check the room after it is being done.
Food in the restaurant was cold. Breakfast should be served warm and a pot of coffee on the table would make it easier when our cup is empty and wait close to 10 minutes to get the attention of the server. Sorry, but this is the truth.
