Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Restaurant does not meet expectations. The Restaurant Menu is limited, not enough variation. When you stay three days you are out of choice. No Italian. The quality and sizes of the portions are below average. The Restaurant Location is not nice, location has no proper view. . If you have transport: go out and eat in Illkirch-Graffenstaden or Strasbourg for some Alsace local meals. August 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel My first visit in this hotel. It is a bit difficult to find, but after the first visit you get used to it. Easy free parking right in front which is very convenient.Friendly staff. Clean nice rooms.The additional charge for two persons about a third of the room price to use the breakfast buffet is in my oppinion to high for what you get for this.You have a quick and cheap access with public transport to Strasbourg which is convenient for visiting this charming city. I would choose this hotel again for my next visit. August 3, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor food choices and service, nightmare to get to Stayed here one night as was the half way point on the way back to UK from holiday in Croatia To get into the estate where the hotel is located almost meant writing off the car. There are concrete barriers at the entrance to estate (I'm guessing to prevent HGV's coming in# but these left a gap of around 10cm each side for the car to get through - not exactly a great start when you've had a 600 mile drive. Arrived and went downstairs to the reception desk in the basement !! I was offered 500 bonus point voucher or a free drink as I'm a platinum member but no mention was made about the Wi-Fi - had to ask how to logon later on. As we'd had a long journey we didn't really want to go out and asked what time the restaurant closed, the lady on reception said she didn't know and we should go upstairs and ask. We'd booked two rooms, an executive and a junior suite. When we got to the rooms neither had bathrobes, slippers or complimentary water or snacks, but we were so tired after the journey we just wanted to get something to eat and then go to sleep. Went into the restaurant and had expected to have a choice of meals. Every IHG hotel I've ever stayed at before #at least 50-60 nights per year# has the typical sandwiches / burgers / pizzas as well as local specialities, but no, not this one. Menu choices were limited to steak tartare, a fish dish, and veal. There was nothing to cater for international guests, so we ended up leaving the hotel and after navigating the concrete barriers again, we couldn't find any restaurants nearby and had to get something from the famous Golden Arches !! We were given no information about breakfast, either cost or whereabouts, and the next morning we decided to eat en-route, so can't comment on it. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the beds comfy as expected from a IHG hotel. If I'd have been staying here for business I would have checked out and found somewhere else to stay, primarily due to the poor choices of food available, but also due to the risk of damaging my car every time I wanted to leave or return :# July 18, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nicht den Standards entsprechend und verträgt eine Grundreinigung Ich war auf der Durchreise und wollte in einem IHG Hotel übernachten, da ich mit den Standards der einzelnen Hotels bisher zufrieden war. Allerdings war ich von diesem Holiday Inn recht entäuscht. Die Atmosphäre (Anlage des Hotels mit Rezeption im Untergeschoss etc.) empfand ich als etwas komisch. Von aussen war man mehr darauf bedacht, auf den JetSet-Club (Privatdisko oder so) hinzuweisen. Auch das auf der Webseite angeblich verfügbare Schwimmbad, war in einem 200m vom Hotel entfernten Fitness Club gewesen, wo man auch keine Info dazu fand, ob man das wirklich nutzen konnte oder nicht. Vom sehr bescheidenen Angebot der Restaurants im Hotel ganz zu schweigen, da blieb nur der Weg ausserhalb. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers empfand ich persönlich als unzureichend. Der Teppich hatte Flecken und das Geschirr (Tabletts mit Frühstück etc.) der anderen Zimmer, stand bei meinem Einchecken um 18.30 noch immer auf dem Hotelgang herum. Alles in allem empfand ich das Hotel als etwas heruntergkommen und in keinem Masse der IHG-Standards bei HolidayInn entsprechend. Das Frühstück hatte ich daher auch gelassen. Das was wirklich gut war, war die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. May 22, 2014
