Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Smelt like sulphur
Hi,
The hotel including the room somehow smelt like sulphur more than the surrounding area outside where the hot springs are. It was fine once airconditioning was turned on. Internet was poor value considering the MB quota. Would recommend another hotel over it in case they have a way of dealing with the smell.

This was a great location for visiting the area. We had a balcony room with view of thermals (the steam from the thermals with the car park in between!). Room clean but very small bathroom and bath too small to use when you're 6'2". Staff very welcoming and breakfast good.

This was a great place to stay for the weekend. Friendly, efficient staff, nice rooms, and lovely hot pool. We would definitely return here if in Rotorua again. Thanks. :)

Stayed 2 nights in a Superior Queen Room. Very nice room that was quite spacious, overlooking the geothermal area - room (806) looked quite recently refurbished. Very comfortable beds. Staff were very good - only comment would be they had limited knowledge of eating options in Rotorua (we were looking for an Italian restaurant that also did pizza). Very nice buffet breakfast with lots of options - only suggestion would be to have some kids style cereal, at least during the school holidays. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Breakfast was great, views from room was brilliant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only small complaint was there was spider on bed on first night but overall experience was good.

The staff and service level of this hotel was great. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend dining in the hotel restaurant for dinner as our meal was superb.

The hotel was beautiful and well located to areas of interest. The staff were GREAT! Very firendly and professional. I would stay here again when I next visit New Zealand.
