Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Required TAG # for parking permit or car will be towed?? Checking in was a wait and then since I did not have my Tag information I did not receive a parking permit...ok I have been to many and I mean many hotels and have never had this type of requirement. I have stayed at the beach many times and never had this requirement...After a long day of work and just wanting to go up to the room and rest It was demanded of me to have my tag number in order to get a parking permit so my car would not be towed. What?? The parking lot was not full and it is winter for goodness sake. For this reason alone I will never go to this hotel again. EVER! February 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Location The hotel was clean and quiet. I was visiting friends and liked that this was a relatively simple walk into the historic district as traffic into the area is horrible. Too cold to swim so I can't say how the pool is. The restaurant has a breakfast buffet and amazingly, if you ordered al la carte, it actually cost Less than the buffet price so you didn't feel like you had to go with the buffet and over stuff yourself. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by staff/employees Upon arriving at the hotel around 1:30AM and with no reservations, the young man at front desk was very accommodating and helpful. He was able to find me a room and was just as energetic as if it was morning or noontime. Having great service is very positive. Regarding the beds, they should be upgraded. I think the mattresses have used up their life. February 13, 2014

We are not accustomed to paying for continental breakfasts at Holiday Inn Express locations though. After the first morning, we went down the street for breakfast but may stay here again anyway. This required driving into the district and paying for parking each time. Other than that, the stay was very good. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room, easy to get to the property. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay Close to the action down by the river. Yet far enough away that you can enjoy your privacy. Breakfast staff was wonderful, very attentive and accommodating. Was recognized as a member immediately upon entering the building. Room was very comfortable and clean. Great place to stay and we highly recommend January 27, 2014
