Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel for visiting NYC! Visiting NYC for the first time as a family, we were initially unsure where to stay. We are very glad we chose the Holiday Inn Express- Lincoln Tunnel in N. Bergen, NJ. The hotel is very nice and has an outstanding breakfast. The service and the rooms are excellent. The shuttle service to Times Square which was only $12/pp round trip was much nicer and less expensive than paying $22/day parking at the Light Rail station and $8/pp round trip on the light rail. 18 July 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Deal ..Great Hotel The hotel actually exceeded my expectations. We were a group of 7 (2 Moms, 5 kids) traveling to NYC, and were a little worried that, given the price, it would not be a nice hotel. The rooms were amazing, the beds and pillows very comfortable and everything was well kept through out our 4 night stay/ Breakfasts were typical, but good - all the bagels were fresh, there was something to please everyone ... The staff, especially the front desk crew were always friendly and helpful, giving us tons of advice on shopping and restaurant recommendations. It really is a great deal and very close to the City. The shuttle is a bit pricey, at 12 per adult (this is not owned or operated by the hotel). You can grab public transportation just up the street for $3 .. the wonderful front desk shared that little gem with us!!! I would absolutely stay there again. 16 July 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Service was average room AC did not cool the room. Average service with average rooms. Air con was not working properly. Found a half eaten bag of skittles behind the bedside table. Breakfast was again average. If you need value for money and don't care about the quality this is the hotel for you. 15 July 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty room, terrible wi-fi We stayed for 7 nights in june. The first room we were offered smelled like cigarette. Front desk offered us another room which did not smell. As we drove for more than 10 hrs, we didn't check the cleanliness of the room. When we woke up in the morning, we noticed that the room was very dusty (dust bunnies in the corners and underneath the tables). There were flies in the room as well. We requested that the room be vacuumed, dusted and the flies be rid off; however, it never happened. The sheets also had holes in them. The dresser would not close. In fact, the dresser doors would open on its own. Housekeeping needs a complete lesson in cleaning, ie. dusting, vacuuming corners and all hidden areas. The wifi never connected for us. Breakfast was ok. Breakfast lady, although tried to be friendly to guests, she was rude to most of the children, including mine. One morning, My son was trying to get a stir stick when she yelled "what are you doing. What do you want?", which scared my 6 year old son. Housekeeping could do A LOT better. Pool was fair, would have been nice if it was heated. 14 July 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor service and average room Rude staff (front desk and housekeeping) experienced from check-in to check-out. Rooms and breakfast were fair. If you would like privacy or anything from housekeeping including toilet paper be prepared to be rude to get what you need. The staff was rude when asked if they had guest laundry facilities or if we could use a table in the breakfast area to have pizza and visit with family. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone. 14 July 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Think about twice Stayed in room on 5th floor,air conditioner was not working properly, left ac running on high the entire time I was there, called service desk ,was told to wait 5 minutes, didn't bother them again..same problem with the wireless internet, not working at all for entire stay on my ipad or galaxy tablet was told to talk to their techs, at check out was told they where upgrading wireless..ice machine never had ice on the 5 th floor.....breakfast was cold, except the coffee......stayed there for the wireless,breakfast and parking....very dissapointed with the stay at this hotel....I will shop around to other hotels 13 July 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed The bed was great but nothing much more than that. The hotel had a funny smell to it. Our bathroom had a constant smell of urine. You could see dried urine on the toilet where it meets tha floor. Don't think that part was cleaned. Staff was very hard to understand due to accents. Breakfast was just okay. Shuttle ran late all of the tme. Location wasn't the greatest. Nothing much around. Convenient expressway access. Won't stay again. 13 July 2014
