Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Poor Front Desk Attitude I used this hotel from 17th to 21st August 2017. Prior to the check in date, i always send them mail but they will not reply unless you call them. My stay was good but the breakfast area is always crowded that you have to queue for seat. However, i had problems with double debt on my card for my stay. My local bank in Nigeria requested for a mail from them. I called but a front desk staff was very rude and uncooperative. Even when i spoke with the manager and begged that i will send a mail for her to reply, she did not. When i called back, i was told she is out for the day. I have never seen a hotel in USA that takes over 20 hours to reply a mail.As at now, am almost stranded in the USA because of the attitude of this hotel management. 29 August 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor experience all around We had several issues that surprised us and caused us to cut our visit and stay at this hotel short. Strong chemical cleaning smell, no shower curtain, no TV remote, poor property appearance to name a few. The staff responded to all our concerns, but it simply became a no go for continued stay. Would not recommend this property with other options in the area. 28 August 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average Pace to Stay for NYC If you are looking for an average hotel in an average area that's fairly accessible for NYC then this would meet your requirements. However, don't expect anything too fancy and expect to have to do a bit of work to get into Manhattan. There is a shuttle bus operating out of the hotel, but for a family this is over-priced. So we decided to taker the train which involves driving and finding the station in Secaucus and parking in the nearby car park. The hotel is 'OK' and rooms are fairly comfortable and the staff helpful, but this is one of the lower quality Holiday Inns that I have stayed in over many years of business and leisure travel with IHG. My overall impression is that it requires some maintenance and TLC in order to bring it up to a higher standard. For instance, towards the end of our stay one of the elevators broke down and still hadn't been repaired upon our departure - it was quicker to use the stairs! The area isn't too great, but if you are just looking for an average hotel and can ignore the deficiencies then this would be OK. 26 August 2014
