This hotel is either undergoing a gradual update, or is in dire need of one. Clerk gave us the wrong room 2 queens instead of a king. After driving all day, we were too tired to make a change. The pool was very nice and clean. The rooms and hallways however, were not.

Excellent rooms and close to the steel mills. There is a lack of close restaurants, you need to drive into Collinsville to get a decent meal.

Hotel was good to average . Location was away from about everything and price was on the higher side. No problems with our stay but not as updated as other HIE.

Was traveling from the west and wanted to avoid St. Louis, and thought this would be a great location to stay for the night. Was I ever wrong. I've stayed in cleaner lower cost hotel chains. Not what you would expect from Holiday Inn. There is a new hotel being built close by, hope it is a new Holiday Inn.

Great value, courteous staff and fantastic breakfast. Anyone traveling in this are would not be disappointed.

I found the front desk staff was not helpful at all when making a request. The first front desk person had no idea of a good place to eat. When I asked for a upgrade for Platinum members he told me they don't really do that. The next day the front desk person was extremely unhelpful. If you want to know the details then contact me. Not Satisfied.

We were bummed to find there was no hottub, but the gm, Chris, went out of his way to find us another location that met our needs. Very helpful and friendly staff
