Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good and very kind front desk service i'd like to share the stay in this hotel, which impressed me a lot. I drive from Washtington DC to new york and live one night in this hotel. Firstly I was disappointed by the long distance from NYC. Just after check in, I realized that I forget my laptop and case in the last hotel, which is another Holiday inn express in Washington DC. My cellphone doesn't work well due to the international roaming. The front desk service guy, Matt, help me contact the previous hotel and give me lots of help. Finally I decided to drive back to washington to fetch my laptop. He give me some candies and bottles of water. I really appreciated his kind help. Finally I got my laptop. and would like to thank Matt again. 21 August 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for NYC on a budget Not in the nicest location, but convenient freeway access on Staten Island, and complementary shuttle service to the Ferry Terminal. The staff was very courteous, the rooms were clean and comfortable (albeit a bit small for 4 adults), and the breakfast was excellent. Overall a great value! 20 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for visiting NYC on the cheap I wanted to find a quality hotel on Staten Island for myself, my wife, and two cousins so that we could explore Manhattan on the cheap. This hotel was great for that purpose: hundreds less per night than a hotel on Manhattan, plus free shuttle service to the Staten Island Ferry, which provided great views of the Statue of Liberty and brought us to Downtown Manhattan (right off the Red Line subway) for free. The front staff were extremely helpful, and the complementary breakfast offered a variety of choices (even an automatic pancake maker). The room was clean and comfortable, if not a little small for 4 adults, and provided excellent views from the 5th floor. I will definitely consider staying here again when traveling back to NYC. 19 August 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fine for a Stop Over I stayed hear with my family just for one night as stop over on the way to cape cod. The hotel is going through refurbishment at the moment so it may explain why the room was a bit smelly and seemed to be in need of an update. Staff and breakfast were very good and cant be faulted. The local area is a bit on the rough side with not much around but easy to get on and off the interstate. I'm sure the rooms will be fresher after the refurb is complete making it a worthwhile longer stop in the future. 13 August 2014
