Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Weekend at this Mountain Retreat I have found that, for the most part, Holiday Inn Express Hotels conform to similar standards and the HIE in Brevard did not disappoint. This was our second stay there and we found it to be excellent. The rooms and common areas are well maintained and the staff was outstanding. We love the close proximity to Pisga National Forest and will definitely return when we are in Brevard. November 20, 2014

I checked in later than usual but the front desk was extremely polite and once in the room I noticed a small hand written note welcoming me to the hotel and the town of Brevard. Very nice touch that I had not seen before in any Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Im Platinum Elite with Holiday Inn so I stay in them a lot. November 14, 2014

Their pancake maker was broken and a staff member reported that this happened frequently. It would have been nice to provide some alternative, like a waffle maker. November 5, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Issue with cleanliness of room This motel is showing age. We stayed multiple nights. The room size and amenities were nice. The problem was the cleanliness of the room. When we checked in the room appeared to have been cleaned well. On the second day we could tell that the bed was made, the dirty linens were picked up and the depleted soaps were replace but that was the extent of the cleaning. The toilet had not been cleaned. The surfaces around the sink were not even wiped despite our having cleared everything off the entire surface. The breakfast was less than ok. When we came to eat a lot of food items were depleted. The eggs were very so so and tasteless. The sausage was dried out. October 29, 2014
