I'm not usually one to leave negative reviews, but my experience at this Holiday Inn Express was unusually bad. It took over 30 minutes to check in. (At least two people in line had been given a room that someone else was already staying in, which took a while to resolve.) The hotel was out of many breakfast items on both mornings of my stay. The first morning the lobby television was blasting an infomercial on erectile dysfunction, which was a bit awkward to say the least. It also took over 30 minutes to checkout due to customers with complaints in line in front of me. My bill was incorrect and the staff person on duty said he would email a corrected one to me within 30 minutes. The email never came, and I had to call the hotel 10 times over the next 3 days before a manager finally sent it. All staff was courteous but seemed a bit overwhelmed.

Wonderful stay, bed and rooms perfect. Only issue was the pancake maker was not operable because the staff did not know how to use it. The senior staff then arrived, fixed it, made a pancake, but somehow the original staff member took it and did not offer one to my friend. Not unfriendly, just if he was paying attention, he could have done the little extra.
Not sure if front desk put in my IHG number as well.
Otherwise, great place and would definitely stay again.

Exactly what we needed: very comfortable bed and pillows; friendly and helpful staff; big free breakfast that was perfect for people starting out on outdoors adventure as we were! Also we appreciated fast, free WiFi.
