Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable Bed and good Service It was a wonderful stay for the three day & nights. I'm with a Military group that stays at the Holiday Inn in Dahlonega twice a year and it's always a joy being together as they are a wonderful group of men and their wife's that spent their time in the army from 1951 thru 1953 during the Korean War.. The Motel was in the process of being renovated and the hospitality room is being taken for a fitness room which I was very disappointed in not being able for the group to occupy the room for our meetings those 3 days, but hope it will be different the next time we meet which will be in April 2015...We do need a place for our meetings which involves about 30 some odd members in the group at present.... Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and great service. I have stayed here about a dozen times over the past 20 years. Many improvements have been made during that time. The most recent was the addition of automatically opening doors at the entrance. A great improvement when bringing in your luggage and a terrific boon for people in wheelchairs. A meeting room is being converted to an exercise room and should be completed in a week or two. The two issues I still have are terrible cable TV reception with limited channel selection (and no HD), and only fair hot breakfast food with very limited seating. I usually take my breakfast back to my room. The turkey sausage one morning was to me inedible. The regular sausage the previous day gave me indigestion. The rest of the breakfast lineup is very adequate. I have come to know the management quite well, and they feel practically like family now. Always look forward to returning. October 24, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good room, but at a not so good price. Just stayed a single (Saturday) night but had to pay almost twice what I paid at a not-too-distant HIE back in the April timeframe. Supply and demand to be sure, as this was in the North GA mountains in the fall, but it really was a bit much for what we got. October 23, 2014
