Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel is nice, Front Desk Service is Lacking First let me say the gentleman who oversees your breakfast in the morning is excellent, very compassionate about his job, speaks to everyone, offered fruit to the children and guest. Wanted to make sure that guest had their fill of food and all they wanted. Unfortunately for him however the hotel ran out of forks and that isn't very good. Considering you have a Sams club down the street someone should have went to get more, also recognizing the evening before what your occupancy percentage is should help to dictate what you should plan for food wise. The front desk staff on the afternoon of the check in was very lethargic and people at McDonald's are more enthusiastic than they are. Also the young lady wearing sunglasses should take them off and also stand up when assisting new guest. the young man that was the manager or supervisor should work on his dress attire. I do appreciate the gentleman on the day we checked out, he was very professional and pointing out to his staff how they should greet the guest and be more professional August 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Comfortable This was my first time at this property and I had difficulty locating the main entrance for checking in. You have to drive 3/4 of the way around the building to find it. The room was appropriately clean and comfortable. AC worked as expected. Towels, bedding and chair were in good shape. Bed and pillows were comforable. We were there for just one night and there was a full house, at least it appeared to be at breakfast. I stay at IHG properties nearly 120 nights per year and have never seen such a crowd at breakfast. Sure it was 8:00 am, but if this is a reoccuring situation, I would think that management could appoint more help to keep the pancake machine, coffee, sweet rolls, cereal, etc. filled. The lone attendant was working his tail off doing a remarkable job for just one man. But he needed help. More seating was also needed, at least for that day. August 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Even at a very low rate I would have trouble staying here again They checked me into a dirty room, and then an occupied room (litterally walked in another guest). The breakfast guy is normally awesome, but the first day they had someone else handling it and it was dirty and not well stocked (seriously, you ran out of plastic knives and coffee lids?). Even at half of the rate of the next closest H.I.E. I don't know if I would go back here.... August 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not near normal H express standards This place was only good in terms of bed comfort. Expect dirty halls, short towel supplies, shortage of breakfast items, dirty tables and sloppy juice and coffee areas. Two people working? Can't keep the breakfast area clean or stocked. The pool water was cloudy and there were three towels available at 1030am 90 degrees out. I am at least a 25 to 30 night HExpess customer platinum level and this is the worst property ' I've stayed at in 2 or 3 years. Even got dirty looks from the gal mopping the front entry area at 1130am. Naturally mopping the unvacuumed debris from one place to another. Drive down the road and save yourself the trouble. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Alternative to Atlantic City Our stay was okay, but not great. Phone of room did not work at first and this had to be repaired. Internet never worked at all in the room we were in and I complained about it 3 times. Hallway carpets have holes in it which could easily be replaced to have the hotel not look so run down. The man working the breakfast was the bright spot but as one guy he seemed stretched at busy times. It would make sense to have someone helping him when there are 25 people in line and tables need to be cleared as well as more food needs to go out. We have doubts now about future HIE hotels. We also were never told that the Saturday night stay was going to be increased since it was a SAT. August 21, 2015
