Only stayed here because my reservation at the Holiday Inn in Quincy, IL was made for the wrong date by my travel agency.
I was told that I received the last remaining room in the hotel. Unfortunately, this was a smoking room which is definitely not my preference, but if it is all you have left, I understand. Wall paper in the room was bubbled and coming off the wall in locations. The floor of the shower felt like I was going to go through it.
The overall cleanliness of the room wasn't bad, but still could have used some work. Will be sure to make reservations for the Holiday Inn in Quincy next time and get full confirmation that my reservation went through.

We stayed here for one night. The man working the desk was great! He told us about different things, including how Pizza Hut would deliver our pizza to the room. We had been driving all day and it sounded good just to have someone bring us a pizza. We got a large, didn't have to wait long, and it only cost $15.00 including our tip. The room was nice, but it doesn't have a refrigerator. The bed were comfortable and we got a good night sleep. The breakfast in the morning was fine. I'm not crazy about the omelette, I've had them before at another Express. I did like how the breakfast room was divided into little sections, which were cozy.

I took my daughters there for a weekend away from everything. When I went to check in the front desk asked me "Why I was staying so long, there is nothing to do in this town." I wasn't sure what to think of this. I have stayed at many hotels and have never had this happen. I thought the room was over priced for what you get. I also noticed black spots on the ceiling over the shower in the paint. The last disappointment was the pool. This was part of the reason I chose this motel. For being an indoor pool it was very cold. No matter how much you moved around you couldn't warm up. It was that way all three nights that we were there. I would recommend the town but not the motel.

Everything was wonderful about this stay!! From the staff helping us figure out the tv (kids pressed buttons and lost tv channels) to staff sending our bag home after we forgot it. Will definitely stay again.

The desk clerk acted like he had just got out of bed. He did not ask if we were reward cardholders. Did not tell us what type of rooms were available. They had a sign at the counter saying if no one was there to call "0:". Everytime we passed the front office there was no one there. Also, the breakfast was good, however, was not hot. The room was nice but outdated. We could definitely see the difference between this hotel and the hotel that we stayed at in Festus, MO. That was a newer hotel and the front desk person was fantastic. We love staying at Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Express but if we come back to Hannibal, MO we probably would not stay at this hotel.

We were told on the phone that this hotel was 4 years old. Very poor condition. The bed was fair as for comfort. The room was not clean, carpet was very dirty and dusty everywhere. The bed skirt was probably new right out of the package which was very wrinkled and messy. The TV was the smallest that we have ever had at a Holiday Inn Express. Overall, we will never stay there again nor recommend this Holiday Inn Express. By the way we always stay at Holiday Inn Express and are Priority club members. All others are much more superior to this one.

I enjoyed the friendly staff and convenient location. There was a hot breakfast every morning and the variety of choices allowed me to have a good breakfast every morning. This is a great help when traveling for business & ensures a good start to my day. I would stay here again.

Overall the room was fine, and I didn't notice any issues even being right next to the ice machine. The front desk clerk was friendly and the room was clean.
As I travel on business, usually if there is a safe, clean room and a decent breakfast, I'm good to go. And, I was good to go here.
