We were under the impression at the time of booking the room that the hotel would be situated much closer to the airport and that it would be easy and fast to travel to the hotel. The taxi driver who drove us 13,9 km from Terminal 4 to the hotel symphatized with us and mentioned that we were not the first customers to find out the actual location of the hotel from him.
Once we arrived to the hotel and checked in, we were assigned to a room on the first floor, only to find out as soon as we got in that the bathroom smelled like a sewer. We asked to have our room changed and got assigned to another room on the first floor with the same problem. After that we were given a room on the second floor which thankfully was in the expected conditions. The member of the staff who assisted us offered a quick apology but was willing to change the rooms without a question.
Our final room was neat but modest, as can be expected from an "airport" hotel. The breakfast was as simple was we assumed it would be.
Our biggest dissapointment, besides the faraway location of the hotel and horrible bathrooms on the first floor, was that the hotel didn't have it's own bus to take us to the airport on the next day. The only options were finding a bus or taking another taxi (there were several waiting outside the hotel, no wonder).

My stay at this Hotel was an excellent stay from start to finish. The attentive friendly staff were fantastic I was checked in very quickly and check out was the same. I had been flying all day so was ready for a nice meal and drink which was excellent both in quality and value for money. The next morning I had a relaxed breakfast with plenty of choice and coffee was fab too. I would certainly stay there again if I ever return to Madrid.

Just spent two separate nights at the Madrid Airport HI Express and while our experience was good, I had expected that with the word "airport" in the location's name, a shuttle to the airport would've been available at no charge.. This was not the case and because of this, a fair amount of unexpected expense was added to our trip. I wouldn't have expected a shuttle to the train station, but the airport? Absolutely! If this service is not going to be available at no charge to guests who sleep there, then this should be made very clear, with an explanation of what the travel options are....or the name of the hotel should be changed.

The only downturn is the lack of transport to and from the Airport.
Had a taxi there for 18.00 euros and went back on the local bus.
Taxi driver did not really want to take me there.
The locals helped find the right bus.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Ideal for overnight - room comfortable - facilities for making a drink in the room were there on the 28 April overnight but not on 6 May.
We drove to the hotel from Orihuela Costa and the drive up to Madrid was no problem but it took an hour at least to actually get to the hotel though we could see it. May I suggest driections to the hotel could be added to the booking, we were really stressed. On returning after 6 May overnight stay the girl in reception gave us instructions and we were out of Madrid in about 15 minutes, perfect.

Buen hotel como base para partir en el aeropuerto de Barajas, un poco escasa la selección del desayuno y la ventana de nuestra habitación no sellaba del todo y se filtraba el viento haciendo algo de ruido.

A bit upset for getting only 1 hour of Internet when other Holiday Express allow their Priority members for the full duration of the stay.
Other than that, the overall experience was good.
The choice of food in the evening was good?
Yes, I will come back in the future.
The staff at the reception were good and helped me with my directions for the airport and the commercial centre.

It's been a very Nice experience. Love the Bed and silence and very friendly staff. Also, the hotel is so close to Barajas Airport. On the whole, feel good and I like to repeat again.
