Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Basic incompetence Our reservation was lost upon check-in, and a big production was made of solving this riddle while we waited at the desk. Our heater was not working in our room, and the desk clerk confidently assured us that it would warm up satisfactorily in a "couple of hours". Morning temp in our room was about 65F (10F outside). I mentioned this to the desk clerk and requested a maintenance man to address the problem. They sent up the kid who was vacuuming the lobby, who confirmed that the unit was not working, THEN sent up the maintenance man, who fixed the problem. Why send up the kid? Bed was OK, room was dated, but OK, breakfast was OK. The only thing that was good about our stay was that the location was convenient to the business we had to conduct in this disgusting town. Some maintenance issues in our room which we told front desk about as we left. They were profuse in their appreciation that I brought it to their attention, I have no doubt the issues will be attended to. January 27, 2016

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by compared We reserved Holiday Inn because we can trust it to be a good nights sleep... Usually.... This was one of the few that did not have a comfortable bed. The place was clean and staff was friendly but an old building. I think the place is over-priced. Especially since there are several motels in the very same area that are 20 to 30 dollars cheaper. We have stayed in one of the others and was much more comfortable. I don't remember hearing the trains all night during the last stay. That motel was across the road from this place. January 18, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff When it comes right down to it, most hotels are rather generic and offer the same things from one to the other. What makes this hotel stand out was the quality and friendliness of the staff. They were very attentive to my needs, and always took the time to converse and visit as their duties allowed. I never saw any of them without a smile on their face even when they were quite busy. As someone who travels on business a lot, it is nice that someone will take the time to get to know you and talk with you over the course of a week long stay. December 26, 2015

By now its really late getting to bed, not to mention poor sleep having the use the pull out couch for our 3rd guest with the mess up with the rooms. Added to our stress for graduation the next day.
