The reservations were made at the Muncie location due to a wedding. I booked 10 rooms at the hotel and everyone was happy with the rooms, the staff and of course the pool. I chose the Holiday Inn Express not only for it's convenience but also because it is one of the few hotels to offer eggs on the breakfast menu as well as alternatives to white bread and rolls. I would stay there again and would also recommend it to others.

We have always had a great experience as Priority Club members at any Holiday Inn Express that we have stayed in....until our stay at the Muncie establishment. We were given a room right next to the elevator on 2nd floor. The elevator made a knocking noise that sounded as if it were going to come through our room...so much so that we had to go to the front desk and request a different room. The desk clerk was very accomodating and gave us another room on the 2nd floor, near the end of the hallway. Even after the room change, we could hear the people above us on the 3rd floor whenever they walked across the room. The sound proofing in this hotel was definitely a problem. The price we paid for this hotel was definitely not worth it, as we could have stayed in another hotel within walking distance with better accomodations, and much less noise, for the same price as this one. Our daughter will be attending and playing soccer for Ball State this fall, so we will be spending the night quite often during the soccer season...unfortunately, it will not be at this hotel.

We came up to show our Daughter Ball State. The whole experience at the hotel (as well as the University was 1st Class). The receptionest (lady) at the desk when we checked in around 10:00 PM was frendly and very helpful. Breakfast both mornings was good and overall condition of the room was excellent. If our daughter decides to go to Ball State you will see the Nobles back again.

Thanks to front desk for allowing us to check in early (10:30 am) as my wife had to get ready for a sorority outing with our daughter, a sophomore at Ball State.

In previous Holiday Inn Express experiences I have found the staff to be much more engaging and outgoing. The staff at Muncie is not UNfriendly, just not as friendly as I have grown to expect.
The hotel is very neat and very tidy; however, I have found it extremely difficult to regulate the temperaturn in my room. It is either "too hot", "too cold" and I just can't seem to find "just right".
The bed and bed linens are very comfortable.

Not enough parking available. Pillow top mattress would add to comfort. Dissapointed that Hotel was several miles from expressway.
