Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Location is great but rooms are small The hotel is located in a prime convenient area of Manhattan making it easy to get to Times Square, Museum of Modern Art, Theatre District, Central Park, Shopping, etc. However, the rooms are very small and I would not plan on having more than 2 people per room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was typical of what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express, the one criticism was that the hard boiled eggs were overcooked. Nevertheless, for a visit to the heart of New York, the hotel was convenient and reasonable. December 18, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No was the word As a Platinum IHG member I expect a little more effort. As we approached the front desk, there was no greeting and we felt like we were inconveniencing the girl. We were early and could not be accommodated which was ok, but when I ask about an upgrade I was told "no". When we advised that we were leaving the next morning at 4:30am and ask if we could take a bagel or cereal cup with us, we were told "no", breakfast didn't start until 6am. That afternoon there was a constant banging outside the room for over 2 hours and it took 3 calls to the front for someone to check into it. When my husband ask if we would be able to get a cab at 4:30am, the girl told him "no" and told him she could arrange a car for a flat rate of $55 to LGA. I knew better, as I visit NYC more often. There are plenty of cabs to be had at any hour in that part of the city and the rate to LGA is $30 when you take the Queensboro Bridge (no fare to cross). The room was comfortable and clean, but the staff needs a lot of work! December 17, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service, Location and Rooms Traveling on business, this was the first time staying at this NYC property. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Convenient location. It would have been nice to have a little more counter space in the bathroom, but everything else was top notch, including the internet service. I recommend. December 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect location in the city 45th and 5th I've been a regular return guest for many years. I really like the boutique feel to this location. Small. Extremely easy to navigate. Always felt safe. Have never had any room issues. Can always count on this location to provide consistent, pleasant customer service and a clean room with amenities. That's all I need when traveling! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. They accommodated my request for an early check-in and upgraded my room to a suite. As I was used to small rooms in other NYC hotels, I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this suite. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff members from friendly and helpful in storing my luggage, as well. The layout of the front desk/breakfast area isn't the most convenient, but that is my only complaint.
