Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay.....staff needs training or new staff The hotel was great.....the staff needs to be trained or new staff hired. The only staff member that appeared to be a good employee was the maintenance man. The breakfast was out of everything and the front desk girl was complaining about doing double duty and it did not appear she was doing a good job at either one!!!!! The coffee pot in the room was there, but no coffee or cups. I read the reviews after I had made the reservations, so I was worried.....but the hotel and the room was very good. Hopefully, this hotel can find some good employees and turn this around!! The room did not smell like smoke or was it loud......as I read in many reviews. November 25, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Overnite in Rapid I prefer H brands. I like Holiday Inn Express and thought I would give them a chance however; this location should be avoided. Access to the property is limited and its old. they have completed updates in the past but they have not been maintained. Go I have yet to be disappointed. Maybe I will check out the HIE location before I make reservations? October 31, 2014

A negative is that there is road construction going on near the hotel and it was very difficult to find the entrance. It is in a very busy business area and the traffic in the evening was heavy. We saw the sign on the building driving toward it but when we got close, the building sort of disappeared. October 27, 2014
