I made this reservation on my corporate card in May. 3 days before the trip my card was hacked and cancelled by the issuing bank so my employer called the hotel directly and paid with their card.
When we checked in the reservation reflected the old card - I pointed this out to the desk person Devyn and she wasn't going to research it; she wanted ME to pay personally. A lady in the back room had to tell her to look through a file folder and when Devyn returned to the front desk she threw the folder down and proceeded in a huff to find the change. She found the change and made the corrections.
I am a priority Club member and my number and point balance were in plain view. My husband is a platinum member and we informed her of both memberships yet even though there was a rack of welcome amenities directly behind her Devyn did not offer us anything.
We have been making this business related trip for 12 years to this location. Next year and any future pleasure trips we will use the hotel across the road.
THIS IS THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW WE HAVE BEEN IGNORED AS PRIORITY CLUB MEMBERS - LAST YEAR MY HUSBAND'S PLATINUM STATUS WAS IGNORED ON A PERSONAL TRIP.

This facility was well kept and had all the amenities one would expect. The pool area was bright and clean; as was the room.

We love staying here. Have stayed 6 times in the last 2 years and always great service, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast

I will never stay at another Holiday inn Express or Holiday Inn. Each time we stayed at a Holiday Inn on this vacation we encountered a problem with the room. This room was still dirty when we tried to check in, When we did check in the bathroom mirror was such a mess it was hard to see. I tried to call the front desk, the phone didn't work. When down and had the clerk come up and see the room. She sent the other clerk to clean the mirror. I asked her if the mirror looked like this were the sheets even changed. Never heard from the manager or staff the rest of our stay. It was an expensive room to walk into just the thought after looking into the mirror if the rest of the room was clean, and beds changed. Never again at any Holiday Inn's.

We found our room to be ok in size, but the room furnishings were tearing at the seams and in much need of replacement. The sheets on the bed smelled of cigarette smoke. And the noise from the traffic outside and the room next door along with hallway noise was very loud. Breakfast offerings were in keeping with Holiday Inn Express standards, but the so called GREAT Room was far from great with only about 10 tables, which made it much to small for the size of the hotel.

Very good hotel in Rapid City and good staff. Pets are allowed which was disruptive to my stay during the day/evening. When the owners were absent, a dog next door barked endlessly when there was any noise outside of its room, right next to mine.
Perhaps a policy of pets not being left in the room when no one is present would be something to consider?
