Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by personal attention I have stayed at this hotel before and was satisfied this time as in the previous stay. On this stay, on Saturday evening, I returned to my room hoping to watch the NFL playoff game on CBS. Apparently whoever had the room before me pushed some buttons on the tv remote and blocked the CBS channel. I contacted the desk, and Mitchell came up to the room to see what he could do. Since he did not have the password code to alter the settings on the tv, he made other arrangements so that I could watch the game in another part of the hotel. I appreciated Mitchell's efforts and thought it noteworthy. I'm sure that he had other more pressing things to do, but he made sure I was taken care of. January 27, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room My husband, two small children, and I frequently drive from Santa Cruz to Los Angeles, and always stay overnight in SLO. We usually arrive late at night, tired and ready to sleep. The staff is always welcoming and friendly...even past midnight. Most importantly, the rooms are comfortable and clean! January 3, 2014

The room was comfortable, breakfast was fine each day and the staff were extremely up-beat and knowledgable, and helped us with planning a few outings in the area. Mitchell was very energetic and happy, and gave us good advice. I would definitely stay again. January 3, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing After staying at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Santa Barbara, this hotel was a notch down. The beds did not seem as nice and when we got in the hot tub it was not hot, it was a cold night so the experience was harsh. The breakfast lobby area is nice but once again the Santa Barbara hotel was a bit better on the breakfast yogurt, everything else was the same. For the price of the hotel (same as Santa Barbara), the hot tub should be hot and the beds should be better. January 3, 2014

Two thumbs WAY UP for that!! They even remembered her name upon check-out! Everybody was so friendly and hospitable. I will definitely be back to this property! December 31, 2013
