The room was clean, yet beginning to show age. Staff service was very good and friendly. Has a very nice, complementary, breakfast. Comparatively, it is less bang for you buck.

Overall, the facility was good. The main problems we encountered were: (1) shower did not work, (2) the water plug in the bath room sink did not work, (3) the breakfast yogurt was outdated and non-consumable. We did not find these problems until the next morning. Most likely, these problems would have been fixed had the staff been notified prior to finding the problems.

Your front desk staff provided excellent service. They were friendly, polite, and very informative. I especially liked the call 30 minutes after checkin.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in San Luis Obispo over the weekend (Sat. thru Mon. morning) and it was a very nice room and suprisingly good breakfast. The staff was very nice and accomodating with my request for a earlier check-in.
Unfortunately our room was never cleaned on Sunday. We checked in on Saturday and the room was great! We left Sunday morning around 9:30am to go to the wedding we were in and when we came home later that night the room had not been turned over. We had no fresh towels (I had left all of the dirty towels on the floor) and the bed had not been made. I made sure to clear everything off of the bed before we left that morning so that it would be made when we came back. I had to call the front desk to request towels to take a shower after a long day of being in a wedding.
I know that this may seem minor but it was disappointing to come back to this after a long day. The front desk representative was very nice and got us some towels with in 5 minutes and I appreciate that. Please look in to this issue and have it addressed because thats one of the great luxuries of a hotel room, getting to come home and not have to worry about anything.

Spent one night at this hotel for our baby-moon. The staff was extremely accommodating, upgrading us to a suite for the special occasion. It was nice having a larger space for my 16-month old son to roam around. Continental breakfast had many options. It was definitely helpful not having to go out and spend time/money looking for food.
Exceeded our expectation for our first stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Looking forward to future stays...
