The parking on a late arrival was a little difficult, resulting in parking on a service lane for the evening. The hotel was as expected, the beds were comfortable, sufficient pillows, the room was lovely and clean and the breakfast met the needs of the four of us. A short drive out of Santa Fe (10-15 minutes) but easy access from the interstate worked well for us.

Particularly like the recent changes with an excellent bed and mattress, as well as a great shower head.

Good place to stay. Only real problem was too much light for sleeping for one of our party. It would help if drapes actually closed!

Easy access off I-25, direct, short routes to Museum Hill and legislative and executive buildings. Varied and quality restaurants nearby.

The hotel was well situated in Santa Fe, not in the center of the city but close enough that the drive was easy to and from the center. It is close to many restaurants, including fast food if desired. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful both about the amenities in the hotel and the area we were interested in visiting. It was a very secure feeling hotel and at no time did I feel that the staff was too busy to answer a question for me.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bunsterbear Windows did not have darkener curtains and parking lot light bothered us all night. All else was excellent.
Our visit was a B+. If the windows had darkeners, we would have had a better nights sleep.

From the surprising rudeness of the Front Desk person, to the lack of curtains in my room, this was a disappointing experience. For a higher price than other HI expresses, I got a worse experience overall. The only positive was a good mattress. Need to get some new FD staff there.
