I stayed at Hotel Indigo Newton one night on a quick trip to Boston. The hotel is very well maintain, the staff was extremely helpful and the room was more than I expected. A big plus is the location right next to the subway green line that takes you right into downtown Boston.

The staff is great. It's an old Holiday Inn from the JFK years which has been completely remodeled. Clean and good value for the money. The restaurant, Boxx has a great bar and often great bands performing in the evenings. Above-average food in the restaurant (but won't be a 25 or higher in Zagat)

The absolute worst room I've ever stayed in for an IHG property way too small if you take a shower water everywhere .

Although I was not given the upgraded room I had requested, the standard room was very nice and the hotel was great. Everything was very clean and appeared new. I would just recommend when checking in to confirm the room type that you booked. Additionally, asking for a room on the second floor is a good idea because the elevator is slow and the second floor is just a few steps up from the lobby.

Comfortable bedding and pretty clean.
It was a little confusing at first on where everything was in the building. I was trying to find coffee and realized the only way to coffee was to find the rest area. I suggest having coffee for your guests on the floors where you have parking and/or the lobby along with water a container of water that may have fresh fruit or herbs in the water for your guests. This is a very inexpensive gesture but yet makes a big impact for guests on the go.

Highly recommend this hotel for comfort and quiet. Easy to get a good night's sleep. Only issues were of a design nature. There should be an outlet near the hallway mirror for use of hairdryer when second person is using the bathroom. Design of shower door (doesn't snap shut) leads to water on the floor. Glass shelf over sink is easy to hit with your head when you bend over the sink. Bathroom light (outside the bathroom) is hard to find and operate in the dark.
