The hotel still seems to be the best in Nigeria now. The service is superb and staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. I feel at home anytime am in the hotel.

your room size is quite okay and comfortable and the proximity of the rooms to the lift is quite good. this makes it quity snapy to get to your desired location within the facilty fast. the matrix of this selection is fantastic i must say.

Definitely not what i expected, chaos at the breakfast buffet , eggs took 30 mins on all four days, frayed white towels now looking grey, toilet holder in room falling apart....Wont be back in a hurry im afraid.

I stayed at the Intercontinental Lagos with my family from the 1st - 5th of January 2015.
Once again it was a good stay. Rooms were very comfortable and gave us the comfort we desired as we wanted to be just out of home but not too far.
Breakfast was just above average and offered some variety. It was basically the same thing however on a daily basis and a little more variety will help.
The club lounge was also a breathe of fresh air if you needed somewhere quiet to do some work and have an early hour drink. I however think the drink and snack options were a bit limited during my stay and was a far cry from what I experienced when I stayed at the hotel in 2013.
For business travelers, the hotel is right in the heart of Victoria Island with easy access to the business districts on the Island.
A few areas I think they need to work on are 1) the lobby always smells of food. I think they need to do a lot more in extracting the smell of food from the Kitchen. It doesn't seem right that once you step into the hotel you smell food cooking. 2) A couple of lights in the room didn't work. I think this is more of attention to detail which if not addressed will slowly bring down the hotels standard. 3) There were frequent power cuts (even though very less than a minute) while I stayed and I think they should invest in an Industrial UPS so certain lights and TVs don't go out when there is a power cut. ) Try and de-emphasize the hotels business orientation. There is virtually nothing for kids to do at the hotel other than use the swimming pool. This becomes quite boring and cumbersome. A Games room may do the magic.
Overall however my stay was good and I will still recommend a stay for both business and leisure travelers.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I had good internet service and quality breakfast with more than enough variety of menu.
The only challenge was the leakage of AC water into the room when I switched off the AC. The drop of water created noise around the room. (attached is the picture)
A bottle of Alcoholic drink was in the room as complimentary drink. I don't take alcohol so I was denied of your hospitality in that regard. Can guest have a choice of complimentary drink.
