Great stay in Paradise

Great stay with friendly staff. Excellent location and amenities. Only caution would be if you would like to utilise a kids club...they only take a minimum of 2 children and it is very pricey. Most hotels/resorts have this service inclusive.
Check the location of your overwater bungalow also. Some are a good distance from the main heart of the resort.
Overall a great stay and would definitely stay again.

A complete disappointment

I'm guessing that this hotel has seen better days. The rooms in the main building are small and cramped. The air-conditioning does not work adequately, and the ceiling when you walk in to the room is dark and very low.

There is not a separate tub/shower. It is all one combined and small entity. The bed is uncomfortable and we could hear neighbors the entire time.

As if the room wasn't bad enough, we were denied several perks that we usually get as Platinum Elite members. Our room was not upgraded. We were also told when we checked-in that we could have a late check-out. Later, we were told that our room was to be occupied and that we couldn't have that late 2pm checkout which we had already confirmed.

The restaurant was pricey and the food was mediocre at best. If you want something lighter for lunch, you have to eat at the pool bar. We just wanted a sandwich or a light salad for lunch---so we were forced to sit outside at the pool with 50 other people wanting lunch while the main restaurant had a total of 6 people sitting inside.

Do yourself a favor and choose another hotel when staying on the beautiful island of Moorea. I stayed in many other IHG properties throughout French Polynesia, and this was definitely the worst.

This is our 2nd visit to this property. We had an outstanding visit and will visit again.

The Polynesian staff was warm and friendly. They worked very hard to see to our comfort. We previously rented an over the water bungalow. This time we rented a Lanai Suite. It was conveniently close to the pool and Top Dive Center. We stayed for 10 days and had an absolute blast. From the property management to the maid staff, everyone sought to exceed our expectations. Our daughter swam from 9AM to 4PM every day and made new friends every day. We used the Dophin Center, the Dive Center and everything in between. This is a perfect family location. We loved it!

海に面した水上バンガローで、メインのロビーから離れているためゆっくりと過ごすことができます。
日本人はほとんど見かける事がなく、ヨーロッパ主にフランスからのバケーションで来ている家族連れが多かったようです。

ハワイのように人がたくさんいませんので、アクテビティも気軽にできますし、快適に過ごせると思います。

Trip of a lifetime- wonderful experience

Everything about our stay at the Intercontinental Moorea was perfect. Beautiful location, wonderful friendly staff especially Jean-Michel (bellman), great breakfast. There is nothing more that we could ask for or expect. Made for a perfect sweet sixteen celebration for our daughter. It took a great deal of travel time to get to you from New York and I can honestly say that it worth every minute of travel time. We can't wait to return.

No estuve de acuerdo con la habitación que supuestamente estaba en la playa, y resulto tener una vista no adecuada a la calidad del hotel, que era el fondo de otras cabañas mejor ubicadas. por lo tanto yo quería ver el mar y tenia que ver el fondo de las casas de adelante con sus a/a de color blanco. Solicite retirarme del hotel, cosa que agradeci que me lo permitieron y me fui a otro que podia ver el mar.

Outstanding concierge service and amenities!

I cannot fully express my gratitude for the level of service I received. The concierge and front desk staff were always attentive, and eager to go above-and-beyond when possible to make excursion arrangements and/or answer questions. I loved access to kayaks, canoes, SUPs! The resort truly provided an all-in-one "base-camp" from which to explore Mo'orea.

Moorea 2016

Having been to Moorea multiple times I decided to give the Intercontinental a try to mix it up. I was terribly disappointed from the check-in that took over 30 minutes to the quality of the "over the water" bungalows. They really are not over the water most are over ground with a deck over the water. The staff was good but they couldn't overcome the poor quality of the rooms and the views. When looking for a hotel, be sure to do a satellite view so you can see fi they are really on land or water.

C'est là qu'il faut séjourner si vous allez à MOOREA. L'hôtel est très bien situé, bien organisé, propre, un service au TOP. La nourriture est excellente et avec un grand choix. Le personnel est souriant, accueillant, efficace. Les bungalows sont très bien situés dans un cadre de rêve. Ils sont grands, propres, très bien décorés. La proximité du centre des dauphins apporte un plus pour petits et grands.
Nous souhaitons y retourner … dommage que ce soit si loin de Paris !
Notre séjour d'une semaine n'a été qu'une semaine de bonheur.

Cadre idyllique, personnel agréable et serviable, mis à part la serveuse du buffet du samedi soir qui a discuté l'âge de notre fils, gratuit par rapport à son âge. La restauration n'est pas à la hauteur du standing de l'hôtel.
