Arthur Winfield Wright House

Paramount Theatre

Opened in September of 1929 this atmospheric theatre is one of four of its kind in Minnesota. In the late 1980s the theatre was completely restored to its original style, it is also on the National Register of Historic Places.

Niagra Cave

One of the most fascinating and unique geological attraction in the United States. During a one hour guided tour visitors will witness a waterfall, nearly 60 feet of high stalactites both delicate and massive, calcite flowstone, fossils that have been dated to over 400 million years old and a wedding chapel in which over 400 weddings have performed. The cave is a constant 48 degrees year round, so a light jacket or sweatshirt is suggested. Walking shoes are also recommended.

Amish Tours of Harmony

Harmony, Minnesota and Fillmore County as a whole, is an area rich in history, culture and scenic beauty. A very significant part of our heritage is the Amish community established here. Through out the tour Amish farmers may be seen working in the fields with horses and horsedrawn equipment and their buggies may be seen through out the surrounding areas. Mower County Historical Center

The history of Mower County and Austin is preserved in more than 20 individual facilities located in the Mower County Fairgrounds. Artifacts and other historical items are displayed in the Hormel Museum, an original building constructed in teh 1890s by George A. Hormel and Company.
