The room suited our needs for the night. Restaurant was expensive. Staff was extremely friendly. Pool area was fun for kids, but there was a lot there when we were there so it was loud. Very clean.

We recently completed a five-night stay at this Holiday Inn.
One day, housekeeping cleaned the room but neglected to leave towels. Another day, housekeeping didn't bother to clean the room. We called the front desk both times. When the member of housekeeping staff arrived to clean the room, she tried to explain happened ("You may have had the 'Do Not Disturb' tag up" -- not so) and arrived without the necessary equipment and supplies to clean the room,
At one point, one of the two computers in the business center did not work. Maintenance fixed that problem, but then the network was down on both computers.
On the Friday night during our stay, there was a loud party in one of the ballrooms. Okay, but the party seem to adjourn to the hallway outside our door. I called the front desk, who promised to send Security up to look at the situation. Maybe they did, or maybe they didn't. But twice more during the night, we were wakened by noise and kids running the halls, the second time at 3:00 a.m., at which point we had to get up to catch a flight
The bartender and the clerk at the Food Zoo (snack shop) were very pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kalamazoo Holiday Inn. The pool area (although rather crowded) was kept clean. We enjoyed and took advantage of the 'adult' hours for the pool. The only drawback on our stay was that a complimentary breakfast was not included. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.

Our baseball team stayed at this hotel for a local tournament. Could not have asked for a better experience for the adults and most importantly the kids! Rooms were typical hotel rooms. What turned out to be most valuable to us--which we did not know when we booked--hotel is a Holidome! Kids can swim, play ping pong, pool, arcade, many open tables for parents to sit and play cards, chat, etc. The fact they had such a great amount of space--allowed the kids to still 'roam and be free' but were in the holidome area and did not venture near the lobby!! The hotel also grilled out burgers, hotdogs, etc..prices were reasonable. Staff was amazing! If we are fortunate enough to play in the Regional Baseball tournament again...this will be the place we choose!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THX 1138 Great Oasis for a few nights in the area
Nostalgic Holidome from the olden days! (minus the fake grass carpet from yesteryear and no tabletop Galaga...).
The new room addition/remodel on the south side was great. (Great power-flush toilets! But LOUD!)
The restaurant was convenient and served good food!
Nearby highway interchange construction is cumbersome, but there are efficient detours by driving around the block.

If you stay and want to retire early be sure to request rooms away from pool area.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TylerTwo As soon as you walk in the door you know you went to the right place. The staff was very knowledable and courteous. The room wre great and the FOOD .
The breakfast was wonderful. The children were thrilled with the automatic pancake machine.
We had a ball in gazebo covered hot tub and gorgeous pool.
The bar was very good and the FOOD (baked macaroni and blacked chicken) was very excellent.
Hope to bye again.
