Good location, but...
The resort is located at the East end of the hotel area, neighboring a park/natural reserve. The beach and views of the mountains are great. However, what the resort has going for it in terms of
natural location, it lacks in the area of services and entertainment.
Food is just ok, not great, water in the pools is warm (we went in August, maybe this is why), very few activities exist in or around the resort, entertainment is almost non-existent, there is about a mile from the resort to the main commercial area in town, nobody wants to walk that far.
Topping all that, it looks like there is a construction frenzy in San Jose del Cabo now-a-days, with many streets and other areas cordoned off and heavy earth moving equipment working during the day.
We still gave the resort 4 stars out of 5 for the potential to become one of the greatest vacation destinations with just a little bit of more effort. [Less]
