This is a boutique hotel in a good location in Santa Barbara. Easily walkable to lots of restaurants, the wharf, etc. The location is probably the best thing about this hotel.
The rooms are TINY - the toilet is basically inside the shower (literally! this is extremely annoying and inconvenient when someone wants to use the bathroom after taking a shower because the floor near the toilet gets all wet) and there wasn't enough counter space or nightstand space for my fiance

Cute (little) rooms, a nice patio, and affordable considering that it was a holiday weekend. Everything was as expected until the desk agent attempted to 'adjust' our bill upon checkout even though we had pre-paid for the stay. It was resolved by the manager but not until the agent handling our checkout became hostile which was quite unpleasant after a romantic Valentine's Day weekend. We won't be back, which is unfortunate because the place is lovely overall with the exception of being treated badly at checkout.

Very convenient to all of the Santa Barbara State Street and Stearns Wharf attractions. The trains and their horns were a little more frequent than I expected and the room was a little on the small side, but I kinda knew that going in so I wasn't disappointed. I had been in Santa Barbara before and had eaten at the little restaurant attached to the Indigo which apparently isn't there anymore. Hopefully whatever fills that spot will be as good as what left if for nothing more than convenience, but there are plenty of good spots to dine within walking distance.

This is probably my 7th stay in this hotel over the past couple years. Originally there was no charge for parking, now its $20/day. Beds are comfortable and clean. Rooms are kinda small, but cozy. The garden patio is always great. The last restaurant was not super but it was nice to be so close. Any other restaurant/bar is a 5 min walk. Apparently a new restaurant is going in, hopefully before my next visit. That's really my one complaint. They need a good restaurant/bar downstairs. Other than that, I love staying here.

I wanted to like this place and the staff was very nice, unfortunately the rooms are way too small, there is no place to put luggage, you are showering almost on top of the toilet, and the hotel is next to the train tracks so it gets loud in the morning

Staid at the Hotel Indigo in Santa Barbara this last weekend. The hotel is quaint but very clean. And I may just be using quaint as the rooms themselves are rather small. Everything else about this hotel I loved, especially the staff. They went out of their way, especially Ron, to make sure that we had a great stay. I had ordered flowers to be delivered from a website and they arrived damaged, the hotel went ahead and reached out to a local florist and replaced the flowers without me having to lift a finger. Definitely over and beyond any expectation I would have from hotel staff. Thanks to everyone there for making the stay memorable!.

Great Stay, great weekend!
The hotel was in a great area of Santa Barbara, I would stay there again, and for a longer period of time next time. It was very comfortable, and well done...
