no refrigerator in room
first day we were missing the tray to hold the coffee packet, when we went down to mention it at the desk, one lady kept saying the grounds are in a filter packet but the second one understood and the gentleman at the coffee counter gave us two coffees, the second morning we had no coffee cups
One lady at the front desk was very unfriendly and stand offish
One server in the cafe was extremely helpful and kind, we saw her both mornings and the afternoon of the cocktail hour for the CW wedding
we were disappointed that we couldn't swim in the morning or early afternoon

Our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable. We also enjoyed the ability to be able to walk to Outback Restaurant.

I spent 4 nights at this location during my stay in Laurel. The staff was great from the fronk desk , house keeping, and dining. They were friendly, helpful and made me feel like a VIP.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone

Have stayed here several times and rate it excellent because of the value for what you get...comfortable and clean room with good amenities. Front desk service and dining staff are always pleasant and attentive.

The hotel had many groups of kids staying the night. The disturbance during the night was one thing, but the fire alarm being pulled at 7:45 in the morning is not a healthy way for a heart attack victim,such as myself, to start off his day. At least I am alive to fill out this eval.

... and the hospitality and service has never changed. From the first time I visited a decade ago, I've never had a bad stay.
Sure, you can say since I've been a long term customer I get superior service, but that's just my point; it's always been a great stay. From Natasha at check-in, to the ladies who serve me breakfast in the morning, the folks at the Holiday Inn Laurel can't do enough for ya.
I especially ike having an Outback attached to the property. A couple of beers under my belt and it's a short walk to bed.
It's a perfect location for me as I have business in Baltimore AND Washington. Easy to get to.

I stayed here for a weekend with my fiancee. We had a great time!
For the price, in this area, it can't be beat.
HIGHLIGHTS: The beds are the absolute best (I wanted to take it home with me). Service at the Outback Steakhouse downstairs was fast and the food was delicious. Room service was prompt and professional. Staff was very polite and welcoming. The Wi-Fi was fast and easy to use (which was a GODSEND). The hotel was very quiet, and we were able to relax and meditate without disturbance.
NOT-SO HIGHLIGHTS: Prices for food at the cafe were pretty steep, and the TV channels aren't as stated on the guides they give you (which may not bother most people, but I have a pet peeve about stuff like that).

I had a great experience here recently. Was greeted immediately and my room was ready wayyy prior to normal check in. I think it was around 1pm.
Was offered a bottle of water at check-in & check-out!! Front desk staff offered to help with luggage if I needed it.
Gave all information at check-in, including restaurant hours - hours of the restaurant next door, location of elevators, etc.
Would definitely stay again!
** Natacha was especially pleasant & helpful!

Hotel was fine.... pretty clean... food can be a lil better... but my biggest complaint is priority should give points for anyone who stays .... not just some people......if u there ... then u there no matter who paid for the room or how much it cost.... the person who stays there should be able to get points....

The bed is the best feature of this hotel. You have to ask for a refrigerator and microwave and that's a big if (something that should be an automatic given in each and every room). The doors to the rooms have enough cracks to let in all sound and all the heat from the hall way. The maids were so noisy it was unbelievable (I was a third shift worker and I could hear them each day out in the hall just chattering away and slamming doors and beating on something). The bed is to die for however. The TV choices could stand a lot of improvement (namely LMN). Give me a fridge and microwave without having to ask for it, my points, LMN, quiet hallways, A/C that stays on even in the winter time, continental breakfast and I'll stay here any time. Natacha was wonderful as was Bryan.

I have stayed here the last three weeks, not that I had to but good service, friendly people, and close to anything you may need. The Outback next door is a plus.

We have been staying here for the last 13 years on our way to Florida because of the mattresses. The hotel is getting very tired- room carpeting stained, room wallpaper damaged, elevators need refurbishing, and no floor vending machines so we will consider another hotel next year.

If you need a dependable Internet service for work or whatever stay away from this hotel. Their Internet drop every 5-10 minutes and rarely had a decent connection (2 bars) when connected
I told front desk they reset router several times with mono improvement. Just be aware

The room was great and the beds & pillows were great as well. The noise in the hallway is heard too well in the room. Didn't know if new insulated doors would help that. Also, a small fridge in the room would have been nice. I notice much un-used space in the cabinets below the sink in the bedroom. Putting a fridge in one of those spaces would be a great idea.
