Stayed here while in town for work. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. It could be a very nice stay if they work on the details.
First the gross, Room 216 had a very loose toilet that leaked. Happily they staff did find another room for me to use. I could not tell you if it was fixed or not.
Room 416 has a toilet that runs intermitently for no good reason, making enough noise to disturb the night. I mentioned it to the staff in the morning. I was told that it would be addressed...I guess I should have asked when they were going to fix it.
There were stains on the small table that is used to rest your suitcase.
Lastly, the curtains did not close all the way allowing the street lights to leak into the room.
But, like I said the staff here are very friendly. If they can just get the details addressed it would be a nice hotel.

Nice clean hotel typical of the Holiday Inn Express brand. The rooms are kept clean and updated providing a good value for business travel. I will stay at this Holiday Inn Express again and recommend it for anyone traveling through the area.

While my personal room was nice, clean and comfortable there was certain areas that were not what I have come to expect from IHG properties.
There small bits of trash in different areas of the hotel, the elevator was covered with marks of graffiti and not well lit.
There was only warm water in the shower in the morning when I was getting ready (6:30-7:00am).
To top it off I had the room rate change after I made reservations, I have never had that happen before and was not aware that it could happen. Since the room was priced well above others in the area that I checked I would have not expected with a reservation this could or would happen. There was some explanation given about the room rates changed daily based on demand, which is fine, but if I make reservations the reserved price is what I expect to pay, no more.
I was not recognized as a Rewards club member either, but that to me is really not a big deal.
