Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel pity about the breakfast Everything was great. Welcome on arrival. Room. Dinner (though the restaurant was extremely noisy). Then came breakfast in the Club Lounge. Requested a simple plain omelette. Waited. Waited some more. Continued waiting. Thirty minutes later and still no omelette but an apology that the kitchen was very busy and my omelette would be served soon. I abandoned the omelette and opted to use the hot buffet option. I think the food was probably very good if only it hadn't been lukewarm at best. All in all a very disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable stay. 05 November 2013

Stylish rooms great facilities and thoughtful "understated" yet friendly service. Highly recommended! 02 November 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleasant stay Ccorner executive room on high floor is around 40sqm. Looks more like a junior suite than an executive room. Elegantly decorated in warm classic contemporary design. Bedroom with very comfortable bed. Desk with UK, US and European sockets. Good lighting 2 closets. Nespresso machine, kettle. Large flatscreen television with Bluetooth soundsystem (which did not work: a Bose iPhone dock was delivered). Good slection of international channel television, poor selection of (good) on-demand movies. Very nice marble bathroom with bathtub and separate toilets/walk-in shower (with great Hansgrohe rain shower and hand shower). Molton Brown amenities View over London roofs and sky. Minibar with a clever selection of soft drinks (organic lemonade, etc.). Fast wifi. Newspaper delivered on week-ends. Very quiet (perfectly soundproofed windows). How is the exec. lounge? Excellent staff. Not huge and can be crowded at breakfast time. Lounge area, seating area, showers. Very good breakfast (salmon, ham, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, smoothie, excellent apple juice, yogurts, etc.) Afternoon tea Good evening selection of cold meals. What was good and what was bad? Good Very friendly and attentive staff Central location, just opposite the underground station Very pleasant club lounge Comfortable and elegant room Bad Nothing 01 November 2013

My only compliant (or concern) is the shower door is tricky......the first two showers I had water all over the floor because I had opened the door "out" instead of "in". A little note about this to guest would be helpful and safer! 30 October 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Poor Service This was to be our 1st night in London for our honeymoon and after travelling 24hrs from Australia we arrived at the hotel at 6.30am to be told our room wasn't ready and won't be until sometime after 2pm. I requested an early check in and also informed staff via email of this. We left our luggage with concierge and walked around London for 3hours… If i hadn't sent the hotel an email at 7.30am virtually begging to be told what time our room would be ready i dare say we would never have been told The front desk lady was terrible, no name badges are worn by anyone so i couldn't tell you anyones name…. we stayed two days and are now travelling back and forth from London and will not be staying with you again 28 October 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Big Disappointment I arrived to learn that a Club room upgrade that I booked and received did not include club access. When I initially booked the room I called the hotel to inquire which level to book to ensure club access. I was told that I could book an Executive King and I would be upgraded as an Ambassador member to the Club level with Club access. Upon check-in I was told that this was incorrect and club access would cost me an additional 57 BPS/day. I declined and let the guest service manager know that I was disappointed that I was initially misinformed and I did not feel that I should pay the added fess. Nothing was done to accomodate my request. Then, I ordered room service several times for breakfast. Each morning that I ordered room service the order was wrong. The first day they brought me double of my order, even though I only ordered for 1 perdon. The next day, they forgot my tea. The next day they forgot the cream and sweetner for my tea. I then stopped ordering breakfast from room service. Then, I had laundry picked up for cleaning. When the laundry was returned my jeans were not cleaned. Housekeeping quickly cleaned my jeans for me, as I was scheduled to check out the next day. And, of course they charged me for the cleaning even thought they initally forgot them. Lastly, the room was noisy, with street noise,as it's in the front of the building. Overall summary, I enjoyed my stay with your hotel back in June, but I was very disappointed with my stay this time. I don't plan to return to your hotel when I book my next trip in April, 2014, as there are many options for hotel accomodations in London. 23 October 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Room and Service I booked this hotel for a surprise break away for my husband's 40th and wanted something special and was not disappointed. The room was very comfortable, the staff couldn't be more helpful and the location was excellent for seeing the sites and getting around. Breakfast was delicious, well presented but a bit pricey. It started with the helpful concierge and the charming receptionist who accompanied us to the lift explaining the facilities. On entering our room we were delighted to find a spacious room with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel and the food was good and the service excellent. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Truly the best place to stay in London It would not be an exaggeration to say that this is now my favorite hotel in London. I have stayed there 3 times now and each time it just got better and better. Every time I asked for something it was brought to me without me even noticing, not that I had to ask very often as everything is considered before you have even thought about it. The hotel is brand new and the rooms are of extremely high standard, for example the TV is so big it takes up an entire wall, never seen anything like that in a hotel. And it's located bang in the middle of everything you could possibly want to do and see in London. Compared to many of the dire 5 star hotels in the area this truly stands out. I cannot recommend it highly enough and am already saving to come back again soon. 17 October 2013

This cannot be home, but is at lest close enough from a comfort point of view. And the location? Much closer to my local office here than it is true home from my main office, that compensate for not being home. Just in front of St James circle line station and at walking distance from most attractive place in London (Big Ben, Wetsminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, ...) 13 October 2013

I did provide a printed confirmation and took them approximately 15/20 minutes to resolve this issue. I was very surprised that the Hotel Manager ignored the inconvenience and did take a minute of his time to apologize for the inconvenience. 08 October 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 2-star hospitality at a 5-star hotel Convenient Westminster location, beautifully appointed rooms, but service was high-price and impersonal. Would have switched hotels but paid in advance for a 4-night stay through the hotel's website. Overall a disappointing poor value for the money for the family or leisure visit. Received more gracious hospitality from the Paris Intercontinental staff where we stayed on points alone. Only one London staff member expressed genuine hospitality. The overall staff would benefit from listening more to their customer's needs rather than hurrying off to the next task or trying to squeeze more profits from high priced amenities. Each day there was a new surprising hassle. "Free" Wi-Fi at a 512K connection speed was useless necessitating spending £14 per day for typical high speed internet. Concierge provided brochures instead of knowledgeable expertise. Was shocked when the staff attempted to charge a fee for providing ice cubes which are freely available at 1-star hotels. The staff explained their goal was discourage guests from bringing in their own beverages. Was highly revealing as to the hotels' misguided hospitality priorities. Will be returning to a competitor London luxury hotel for our next London visit. 06 October 2013

The location is perfect, walking distance to Big Ben, Westmister Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Trafalger Square, Picadilly Circus. Lots of green space near by for a walk in the park with both St. James Park and Green Park near by. If you don't want to walk, the Tube station is across the street, so that is very convenient! We took the tube from the airport and just had to cross the street to the hotel. This hotel has been recently updated and it is amazing. The rooms are fantastic for what you get in London, I've been to London before and this place is tops. Don't hesitate to book a room here, you'll be glad you did. I spent a lot of hours clicking on hotels and comparing and this hotel is very worth the money. Stop looking and book this place. 05 October 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tomi Patterson Niiccoli in the bar was AMAZING. Pete at the front desk AMAZING. The room design was an issue. No way to do your hair in the bathroom. At the desk would have been ok IF there had been a mirror there. Instead you have to blow dry and curl your hair over the coffee/food area which is less than desirable. Concigieres were helpful but not as knowledgable as I'd expect. The Internet connection needs work. Always had to reconnect. 03 October 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel - Full value for peace and comfort. We had an extraordinarily pleasant stay. Every single staff member was pleasant, cheerful and helpful. The room was perfectly quiet, beautifully decorated and wonderfully maintained. The breakfasts were ample and the dinners were excellent. Restaurant staff guided us through the menu selections and wine list, brilliantly. The concierge gave us practical advise about our outings and booked many of our tickets, on the spot. In summation, I would recommend this hotel to anyone for the complete value it represents to anyone visiting from any country. In the busy city center of London, you will find peace and comfort at this truly great hotel. 02 October 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Service, but issues with fire alarms. Service throughout the hotel was courteous and excellent. Room was smaller than expected and bathroom was much larger than needed. The fire alarm went off twice (once in the early morning) for no apparent reasons. Location of hotel was perfect for our interests in visiting goverment facilities and the Palace. Good taxi service. 01 October 2013
