Featured Los Angeles Hotels

With its year-round moderate temperature, nearby beaches, star-studded nightlife, sizzling culinary scene and wealth of world-famous tourist attractions, Los Angeles is one of the world’s greatest and most famous destinations. This sprawling city covers 467 square miles and is home to approximately 140 nationalities of people speaking 224 different languages, making it one of the most diverse cities in the world. It is also the birthplace of the world's movie industry and home to many of the big screen’s biggest celebrities and talents No matter your reason for visiting, IHG has excellent Los Angeles hotels not far from the city’s best local attractions.

Things to See

One of L.A.’s most popular activities is a guided bus tour, which takes groups through Hollywood and Beverly Hills, giving glimpses of the city's major attractions and your favorite stars' homes. A tour of Universal Studios in Hollywood is a must for movie buffs. Combining a functioning movie studio and amusement park, it has fun rides for the entire family, including Jurassic Park, Transformers 3-D and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem rides. For the grown-ups, The Getty Center has thousands of paintings by iconic artists like Van Gogh and Monet, as well as beautiful sculptures and antiquities.

Hotels in Los Angeles

If you plan to spend a lot of time shopping, dining and relaxing on the beach, consider Santa Monica, located on L.A.’s western edge with easy access to Santa Monica and Venice beaches, and the popular Third Street Promenade restaurants and shops. Beverly Hills and West Hollywood also have plenty of luxury hotels if you wish to experience the glitz and glamor of the Los Angeles lifestyle.

Where to Stay

The world-famous Strip, still the most popular place to enjoy the never-ending excitement of Los Angeles, has hotels that cater to all. While some enjoy being in the middle of the action, those who prefer a low-key experience can find even more hotels just a few blocks from the Strip many of which offer a more affordable price and level of luxury. Consider downtown L.A. if you want to stay within the city limits without spending a fortune. Along with bustling nightlife and shopping, downtown is home to Staples Center, where you can catch a Lakers game or concert, ,and a multi-cultural culinary offerings perfect for serious foodies, such as sushi in Little Tokyo and Mexican taquerias on Olvera Street. L.A.’s public transportation system is limited, and traffic can be quite agitating for first-time visitors. Wonderful Accomidations

Excellent Hotel. Great value, clean room and great service. [Less]
Great hotel for Disneyland getaway
By LuckyDucky01
The hotel is easy to find and has plenty of free parking. It is well located with nearby shopping and dining options. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The free shuttle to Disneyland is a [More] great "extra". This property has a calm, friendly, helpful staff. I would like to add that I am an older woman, and that I travel alone. I was very pleased with the personal attention I received at the Holiday Inn. I never once felt "invisible" in this hotel. [Less]
Comfort at its best
By hemry27
Never been disappointed by IHG group and this place lived up to the task. THe most comfroable beds Ive ever slept in. Short business trip left me with no worries at all. Great rate, great location! [More] Would stay again. [Less]
Overall Experience
I rated the pre-arrival experience as "less-than" because of time, frustration, driving problems, etc. That was more a concern dealing with the 1-800 staff. Your staff I rated highly and they [More] deserved it. Checking in could have been a tad more pleasant, had the desk clerk asked for my club card/number and pointed out where the restaurant/coffee shop were located. I was too tired to remember to ask. YOUR staff was very well trained, very professional and courteous. It was late at night, had to fumble with the phone, look (in the dark) for a reservation I didn't have, etc. [Less]

Good hotel, shady area
By shadowsfrenzy
It's close to the airport, so if you're flying LAX, it's worth staying here. Not the greatest area to explore. [Less]
Outdated and not clean
By Raghu G
Staff at the check-in and in general are very good and accommodating. The facilities at the hotel look very outdated. There was clogging of water in both the tub and wash basin. One was fixed after [More] reporting but the other one needed a noisy repair. So it was not done. The windows and bathrooms were dirty. Appears like they haven't been cleaned for some time. The hotel in general looks very good from outside but the interiors were not upgraded as the exterior. I don't recommend this particular property. [Less]
Enjoyable accommodations.
By Nineor09
Everything I would expect from HI; clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff @ check in were very accommodating with the bed changes I requested upon arrival. WIFI Internet connectivity was the only [More] issue; slowness, drops and no connectivity the first morning. [Less]
