Featured Los Angeles Hotels

With its year-round moderate temperature, nearby beaches, star-studded nightlife, sizzling culinary scene and wealth of world-famous tourist attractions, Los Angeles is one of the world’s greatest and most famous destinations. This sprawling city covers 467 square miles and is home to approximately 140 nationalities of people speaking 224 different languages, making it one of the most diverse cities in the world. It is also the birthplace of the world's movie industry and home to many of the big screen’s biggest celebrities and talents No matter your reason for visiting, IHG has excellent Los Angeles hotels not far from the city’s best local attractions.

Things to See

One of L.A.’s most popular activities is a guided bus tour, which takes groups through Hollywood and Beverly Hills, giving glimpses of the city's major attractions and your favorite stars' homes. A tour of Universal Studios in Hollywood is a must for movie buffs. Combining a functioning movie studio and amusement park, it has fun rides for the entire family, including Jurassic Park, Transformers 3-D and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem rides. For the grown-ups, The Getty Center has thousands of paintings by iconic artists like Van Gogh and Monet, as well as beautiful sculptures and antiquities.

Hotels in Los Angeles

If you plan to spend a lot of time shopping, dining and relaxing on the beach, consider Santa Monica, located on L.A.’s western edge with easy access to Santa Monica and Venice beaches, and the popular Third Street Promenade restaurants and shops. Beverly Hills and West Hollywood also have plenty of luxury hotels if you wish to experience the glitz and glamor of the Los Angeles lifestyle.

Where to Stay

The world-famous Strip, still the most popular place to enjoy the never-ending excitement of Los Angeles, has hotels that cater to all. While some enjoy being in the middle of the action, those who prefer a low-key experience can find even more hotels just a few blocks from the Strip many of which offer a more affordable price and level of luxury. Consider downtown L.A. if you want to stay within the city limits without spending a fortune. Along with bustling nightlife and shopping, downtown is home to Staples Center, where you can catch a Lakers game or concert, ,and a multi-cultural culinary offerings perfect for serious foodies, such as sushi in Little Tokyo and Mexican taquerias on Olvera Street. L.A.’s public transportation system is limited, and traffic can be quite agitating for first-time visitors. Best deal for your buck
By Anaheim hopper
This hotel's staff were all very friendly and nice, great complimentary breakfast and social events on the weeknights (unlike any hotel we've stayed at in Anaheim and we've stayed at multiple since [More] we are Disney fanatics), clean rooms, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend especially if you're staying a couple nights. The only cons were the lack of machines in the fitness room and a couple did not actually work, and a couple of the guests that stayed there. (One family let their children urinate outside on the ground in the open, WHEN THERE IS BATHROOMS AVAILABLE NEAR THE FRONT DESK) Overrall, loved the stay! [Less]

Great stay close to Disney Land
By BFiggy
We arrived a little early and we were greeted in a great way. After a 6 hour flight we were tired and they got us a room right away. They gave us the run down on what was going on in the area and we [More] were off . Everybody was super friendly, the room was big and clean, and the free breakfast it self saved us over $100 for a 6 day stay for sure. Will definitely stay there again when in the area. Close enough to Disney Land and far enough not to be caught in the tourist section of town. [Less]
Great location and service
By John
Within a short walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl. Hollywood walk of fame and tour guides are also close by. The Hollywood sign is a short drive away. Great for visits to Hollywood. [Less]
Clean room and helpful complementary items
By Lily
The room was clean. Even if we left it messy the next day they cleaned it up every moening. I forgot razors and shaving cream, so the complementary items help me get a free one, which was quite [More] helpful. [Less]
Great location average hotel super expensive = not 100% happy
By TemeculaBill
Far too expensive for the quality of the hotel. Breakfast room is so small we had to take our sad little breakfast to our room. Really hope they refurbish the entire hotel and make a breakfast room [More] equal to the amount of rooms they have. [Less]
Indigo
By Tlmc
First time staying at an Indigo property. Loved it. Hope to find more for future trips. The staff was great. Manager even left a hand written note welcoming me as s club member. This stay pushed me [More] to gold. [Less]
Comfortable bed and great service
By FEL17
This was my first stay at the Indigo and received a warm welcome from the staff. The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable. The only issues we had during the stay was the internet [More] connection was unpredictable. Sometimes it worked and other times it didn't. Other than that the stay was great. [Less]
Nice Hotel
By Del90008
Front Desk staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and restaurant staff were friendly. Room was nice, but it was not thoroughly cleaned. There was used floss and a used face towel left in the [More] shower and the trash can was not emptied. The location was very close to Disneyland, about a 10 minute walk and two minute walk to Garden Walk. Although it was two of us, the hotel gave us one ticket for a complimentary drink at the bar, but it could not be utilized because the bar was closed by 9:30pm on Sunday. Overall, the hotel was nicer than expected, parking was great, and location to Disneyland is excellent. [Less]
