Featured Los Angeles Hotels

With its year-round moderate temperature, nearby beaches, star-studded nightlife, sizzling culinary scene and wealth of world-famous tourist attractions, Los Angeles is one of the world’s greatest and most famous destinations. This sprawling city covers 467 square miles and is home to approximately 140 nationalities of people speaking 224 different languages, making it one of the most diverse cities in the world. It is also the birthplace of the world's movie industry and home to many of the big screen’s biggest celebrities and talents No matter your reason for visiting, IHG has excellent Los Angeles hotels not far from the city’s best local attractions.

Things to See

One of L.A.’s most popular activities is a guided bus tour, which takes groups through Hollywood and Beverly Hills, giving glimpses of the city's major attractions and your favorite stars' homes. A tour of Universal Studios in Hollywood is a must for movie buffs. Combining a functioning movie studio and amusement park, it has fun rides for the entire family, including Jurassic Park, Transformers 3-D and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem rides. For the grown-ups, The Getty Center has thousands of paintings by iconic artists like Van Gogh and Monet, as well as beautiful sculptures and antiquities.

Hotels in Los Angeles

If you plan to spend a lot of time shopping, dining and relaxing on the beach, consider Santa Monica, located on L.A.’s western edge with easy access to Santa Monica and Venice beaches, and the popular Third Street Promenade restaurants and shops. Beverly Hills and West Hollywood also have plenty of luxury hotels if you wish to experience the glitz and glamor of the Los Angeles lifestyle.

Where to Stay

The world-famous Strip, still the most popular place to enjoy the never-ending excitement of Los Angeles, has hotels that cater to all. While some enjoy being in the middle of the action, those who prefer a low-key experience can find even more hotels just a few blocks from the Strip many of which offer a more affordable price and level of luxury. Consider downtown L.A. if you want to stay within the city limits without spending a fortune. Along with bustling nightlife and shopping, downtown is home to Staples Center, where you can catch a Lakers game or concert, ,and a multi-cultural culinary offerings perfect for serious foodies, such as sushi in Little Tokyo and Mexican taquerias on Olvera Street. L.A.’s public transportation system is limited, and traffic can be quite agitating for first-time visitors. By finding a hotel in an L.A. area or neighborhood convenient to your trip highlights, you'll dramatically cut down on any potential loss of time caused by gridlock.

Great hotel
By Den BR
Had a great time staying at Staybridge Anaheim. Great pool breakfast and suite. Will stay again. [Less]
Perfect for families
By Poshoy
Our family likes to play board games on vacation. There was plenty of places for our family to do this. We like the morning breakfast and found plenty of items to eat. Our only negative was the [More] water pressure in the shower, but that might be a city water conservation thing. [Less]
We Highly Recommend
By Canadian Senior
Our stay of 9 days was excellent. We were a group of 19 Canadians. We've stayed here in past years and always enjoyed it. The breakfasts are awesome, and so is the afternoon/evening food that is [More] served--nachos were great! The beds and pillows are comfortable. Nice to have a kitchen. Staff is VERY accommodating. Great LAX Transit Hotel
By Frequent LAX Traveller
This HIE has all the good things you can always expect from an HIE including helpful staff, clean environment and rooms, great wifi, great cable TV, gym, pool and jacuzzi, and an awesome breakfast [More] included. This particular one is 5 minutes from LAX terminals and has a reliable airport shuttle every 30 minutes / 24 hours. There are a number of restaurants, fast food, and a 7-11 all within walking distance. It is the perfect hotel for transiting through LAX or visiting nearby Santa Monica and beach areas. [Less]
Nice Comfortable Stay
By wm_tg
This property meet the Holiday Inn Express standard. Frankly, they are all kind of the same, and this is why I stay in them. Our main concern before arrival was the aircraft noise, since it is [More] right next to the airport (you can see the planes land), but we can attest that the noise does not reach in the inside of the building. We slept very well. The price was reasonably when one takes into consideration it is in LA. For us, breakfast is included. Here are some areas where there is an opportunity for improvement: 1. Should give guest the option of not having the towels washed every day like in many other hotels. Better for the environment. Also, stop throwing away the soap every day, for the same reason. 2. Should provide guests with a recycling bin (or indicate to us that the garbage is sorted for recyclables). Yes, some of us factor in our environmental impact when making our hotel selection. 3. Parking lot gets full during the weekend, but there is street parking outside. The street is a little quiet at night, but not a big deal. 4. The elevator is very slow...so slow that there is a line on the floor we stayed in the morning during check out time. [Less]

Great Week!
By Plastic Netman
The Staff was friendly and helpful and had good answers to questions that I had. The room was clean and comfortable for my week stay. No noise or problems to keep you from getting good sleep. The [More] only problem was there was no cleaning wipes in the exercise room. The equipment was good and there were clean towels. I really enjoy my time there because you are in walking distance to many places to eat and places to shop. I know I will stay there again! [Less]
Great service in a good location
By MajorH
The staff experience was what remains in my mind. Samuel was excellent in recognizing my status, noticing it was my first time in the area, recommending places to eat and then ensuring my stay went [More] smoothly. The rooms have been renovated and are very nice. Great for a business traveler. [Less]
Great Stay
By MAJ H
I spent the night for business. From the minute I walked in this hotel exceeded my expectations. Samuel, who works the front desk, provided excellent service and I would like to thank him for that. [More] This hotel reviewed my preferences prior to arrival and actually followed them. Samuel also noted that I was new to the area, provided restaurant recommendations and provided everything I needed. 5 stars to Samuel. The room was well equipped and maintained to a high level of quality. I even received a call to see how my room was about an hour after I checked in. This was probably my best stay at a Holiday Inn in 10 years, if not ever. Thanks to the staff there. [Less]
