Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Shabby property, breakfast to match On the whole, this is a tired property that is not well kept. Public areas were very poorly cleaned and quite scuffed up. My guestroom was better; bed and bathroom were very good. A/C was excellent. In-room internet was excellent. But carpet, other furniture in room looked worn. Breakfast was the low point; scrambled eggs were rubbery and the biscuits were old and dried out like plywood. I stay at quite a few Holiday Inn Express properties, and Detroit-Southfield is far below average. July 26, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room not clean Upon arriving to our room we found it not very clean. As we looked around there was a dirty pillow case behind the tv in our room. The floors in the hall were also not very clean. The elevator was very dirty and was not cleaned the entire time we were there. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. July 10, 2015
