Small and Dirty Rooms

Rooms were small and extremely Dirty. Bathrooms had hair all over the floor. Was required to stay at the Hotel for a sporting event or would have switched to another hotel the minute we walked into the room. Hotel also does not have a Laundry Facility on site.

Jason at front desk was super accommodating to early check in request. WE all had wonderful time!

The Crowne Plaza Brand should not be a member of the IHG Hotels group if they cannot offer the same comforts to all of their guests as the other hotel brands in the program do. The entire fifth floor is designated for VIP guests which is probably great if you are one. It also must be where all the really expensive microwaves and refrigerators are located because there sure wasn't one in either the "king leisure suite" or the "king deluxe suite" that I stayed in. I spend a third of my nights in hotels. Crowne Plaza is not my favorite in any category.

The staff and accommodations were exceptional! I travel often for business and will be heading back to the area soon. This is definitely my new hotel of choice!

Was upgraded to the fifth floor with a free bar service for a few hours. The room was comfortable and the bed was comfy as well. I felt right at home. Service was nice, the pool was in great working order and the hot tub hit the spot. Will stay again.

We stayed at Crowne plaza South Independence for the labor day weekend. It was cheaper compared to other hotels but pretty decent compared to high end hotels. My kids love the pool. The room size is average as well as other room fixtures. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!
