The dynamic cities, beautiful countryside and thousands of castles are a few reasons why people love traveling to Germany, and they’re why you’ll also love a trip to this European country. The top cities to visit are Berlin, Hambrug, Frankfurt and Munich. The German capital of Berlin is a bustling metropolis filled with fun nightclubs, cultural museums, the Brandenburg Gate and the East Side Gallery, which is a vibrant monument of the Berlin Wall. Hamburg is a harbor city, and its port is the third biggest one in the world. Ways to enjoy Hamburg Harbor include walking along the waterfront and taking a boat tour. You can also check out the Reeperbahn — the famous street where the Beatles began their international career. Frankfurt is the financial center of Germany and is known for its skyscraper skyline. Take an elevator ride to the top of the Main Tower to see a bird’s-eye view of the city. Munich is a gorgeous green area. It’s home to several beer gardens and breweries, but is probably best known for its annual Oktoberfest. There are several castles to see and visit, but we recommend Neuschwanstein, the Wartburg Castle and the Eltz Castle.
