Featured Gatwick Hotels

A perfect hub for Gatwick Airport, trains to London, and the Manor Royal business park, our Gatwick hotels guarantee you’ll be well-situated for business and sight-seeing.
Thirty miles south of London and near to other towns such as Crawley, Gatwick’s activity is now dominated by its busy international airport, but dates from a 13th century manor house and farm. In the 1920s, an aerodrome took residence in the area, and provided the precursor to decades of aviation-related building.
Visitors to Gatwick are in luck - the town is nestled in an extremely historic and culturally rich area. The countryside of West Sussex is dotted with castles and cathedrals, such as Arundel Castle, and famous residences of the Royals like Hampton Court. Places to enjoy the fresh English air also abound, with the South Downs and New Forest nearby.
Make a retail pit stop at Crawley County Mall for a range of over 90 shops, a bustling (and delicious) food court, and the children’s play area. For something more rustic, the small market town of Horsham also lies nearby and offers a range of charming boutiques vending everything from fashion to uniquely regional gifts.
Transfers to London and beyond are a breeze, with Gatwick Express trains ferrying airport passengers to the London Victoria station every 15 minutes.
Make your stay in Gatwick stress-free and efficient when you book one of our Gatwick hotels. Our convenient locations, business-friendly services, and reasonable rates ensure the perfect stay, every time.

Lovely hotel in a great location
By LadyAsh
The Crowne Plaza is in a perfect location for a visit to London – the museums in South Kensington, the Royal Albert Hall, Harrods in Knightsbridge and Kensington Gardens are all within walking [More] distance. The hotel is minutes from Gloucester Road tube station (on District and Piccadilly Lines) giving easy access to Covent Garden, Buckingham Palace and other tourist attractions. The hotel itself is very contemporary – our Club Room was modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. The pillows were great and the blackout curtains ensured a great night’s sleep. There were also little sleep aids left by the bed for those who find sleeping a problem. We didn’t hear any noise from the street or the hallway outside. The bathroom was also very modern (looked new) - had a separate shower and bath (all were spotlessness clean), had bathrobes/slippers and lovely toiletries. There was TV on wall, wardrobe, desk, armchair and small table in the room, plus fridge, ironing board, hairdryer. On arrival the staff were very friendly and the checking in was very easy - we were told about the hotel facilities and the area. The area behind the lobby is lovely – you could definitely wile away of bit of time sitting on the comfortable sofas looking out to the gorgeous garden. In the summer I would imagine the seating area in the garden would be very popular! Part of our deal included use of the Club Lounge between 6pm-8pm (free drinks and canapes) – so an excellent start to the evening! There is also a very vibrant cocktail bar in the hotel which we had a few drinks in before having a delicious meal in the Umami Restaurant (pan-Asian type food). My husband used the fitness room which he thought was excellent (I had jog around the block instead – loved the area – discovered some lovely Mews streets). We had a delicious breakfast before leaving on Sunday morning – this was buffet style which included a variety of fresh fruit, cereals, full English breakfast (there was also a continental option) plus pancakes etc. The hotel also has a great function room downstairs – I first discovered this hotel when invited to a Christmas party last year – the function room would be perfect for parties/weddings/corporate events etc. There were a mixture of people in the hotel so I think it would suit all types - business people, couples and families. We had a very relaxing, comfortable experience and I would definitely recommend it. [Less]

Excellent customer service

I encountered a problem in the bathroom during my stay. The matter was resolved extremely quickly and the duty manager confirmed by way of a hand written letter that the issue had been addressed. [More] That's a nice touch which you rarely experience in any standard of hotel around the world. Well done Holiday Inn Guildford for making my stay so enjoyable. [Less]
Lovely hotel as always at Holiday Inns
My stay at this hotel was to save travelling 40 miles every day to see my husband in hospital. The welcoming staff and the comfortable room made a difficult time much easier. We usually stay [More] together for short breaks and have found Holiday Inns to be our favourite hotel group . I ate dinner in the restaurant on my own and the kind, attentive staff made me very comfortable. The food was delicious (I felt sorry for my husband having to make do with the hospital's menu ) [Less]

Good service, poor restaurant
By SwissDave1
Decent enough hotel, close to the airport. Not at all noisy and the levels of service were to be commended. Let down badly in my view by the quality of the dinner in the restaurant. Really poor [Less]
Relaxing hotel with friendly service.

The perfect hotel to stay in either on business or leisure. It was perfect for my overnight stay, I travel through Heathrow frequently and this is the most comfortable hotel by far. [Less]
Good stop over hotel near LHR
By Mick19422
Have stayed here many times and am always satisfied. The only thing i would say is that it is looking a bit sad and needs a coat of paint. Compared to the Holiday Inn Express in Bangkok the breakfast [More] was excellent. [Less]
