Featured Dartford Hotels

If you're looking for Dartford hotels as somewhere to stay just outside London or simply for easy access to the M25 early in the morning to get you to your meeting, we can certainly meet your requirements with our excellent locations.

Dartford, Kent, is just 40 minutes from Central London by train and is around 35 miles from Gatwick airport, so is easily accessible for all visitors. The town has become somewhat of a commuter area for Greater London but also has a lot to offer in its own right.

Crossing from Kent to Essex over the River Thames, you would most likely use the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, the second longest cable bridge in the UK. Lullingstone Castle in nearby Eynsford is certainly worth a visit too to take in its "World Garden of Plants", the first of its kind in the UK. The River Darent flows through Dartford and it is well worth taking a stroll along its banks to relax and unwind.

Visit nearby Brands Hatch racing circuit for a driving experience or to watch some thrilling racing. If you're a lover of animals then Eagle Heights is a great way to see and interact with birds of prey.

Shoppers will not be disappointed as the huge Bluewater Shopping Centre, one of the biggest in Europe, has well over 300 stores and is only 4 miles from the town centre. Cross the Thames into Essex and head over to the Lakeside Shopping Centre for another great shopping experience.

Whether it's business, pleasure or a mixture of the two, don't let your search for Dartford hotels pass us by. We really can help you to get the most out of your stay.

Decent hotel with some issues
By Traveller2017
I stayed one night in mid February at this hotel. I checked in late but was assigned my specified room type. Unfortunately, the room was cold, whether by aircon set too low or faulty window vents I [More] don't know, but the cold was not the main issue. Thames Water were carrying out important works in the street outside which required a generator running 24 hours a day. The window vents would not close so the noise could not be shut out. Earplugs were supplied but I do not find them comfortable to sleep in so I asked to be moved. Although the hotel was virtually full, the staff quickly found me a twin room in a quiet part of the building and were effusive in their apologies. The breakfast room was chaotic and the standard way below the norm for HIX hotels, even when such hotels are full. In brief, there was a shortage of everything - crockery, cutlery, glasses and most foodstuffs. Although there was a decent number of staff present they did not seem capable of keeping the food dishes stocked nor the cutlery, crockery and glasses. Meanwhile, various tables sat uncleared the whole time I ate breakfast. The breakfast chaos was not helped by the serveries being contained within small, cramped areas which barely held 3 people without everyone bumping into everyone else. To be clear, all staff encountered at check-in and during breakfast were pleasant and helpful, but serious changes need to be made to the breakfast operations at this hotel. [Less]

Boutique, friendly and cosy
By Andrewcc
I am a regular visitor to this hotel and I have the same satisfaction every time. The property is warm, cosy, well-designed and staffed by a team of smiling, caring, friendly and diligent young [More] members. The rooms are designed with care, attractive, well-stocked, extremely comfortable and very clean. The bathrooms, while not necessarily large, are great: great lighting, good colours, clean (again) and with strong and efficient showers. The hotel's facilities are good. The restaurant and bar is really nice (terrific buffet breakfast), the gym is small but nice and everything about the hotel is very comfortable, cosy and with an attention to detail. I really recommend it, especially as it is walking distance to Earls Court Tube Station and with an abundance of local restaurants and supermarkets. [Less]
Excellent location
By catjclarke
I have stayed at this hotel twice and will definitely return when I'm next back in London. The hotel is so quiet considering that it is just off Earls Court and our room had a view of the lovely [More] gardens opposite. The staff were fantastic and so welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. The only negative for me was that the mattress on the bed was very firm and I didn't sleep well as I'm used to a softer mattress but otherwise I had a really lovely stay. [Less]

Lovely Stay
By Vicky
I booked a king superior suite, upon arrival it did seem smaller than the photo although you are in London. The staff at the hotel were all lovely. Our room was not ready by 3pm so we were offered a [More] free drink at the bar. The bar was expensive with it being £22 for two drinks! Overall we had a lovely stay. [Less]
Excellent
By Jon from Kent
This is my second stay, they didn't upgrade me this time and the room was well designed but tiny, saying that I had excellent mattress and one of best night of sleep. Great bar and me and my wife [More] had nice cocktail before going out. Definitely coming back!!! [Less]
